Creamos en Jesús y seremos salvos

Ellos dijeron: Cree en el Señor Jesucristo, y serás salvo, tú y tu casa. Y le hablaron la palabra del Señor a él y a todos los que estaban en su casa. Hechos 16:31-32 (RV1960)

Cambiador del Mundo: Pablo nos narra una historia cómo en uno de sus viajes después de liberar a una mujer que se dedicaba a la adivinación, fue llevado preso y encarcelado junto con Silas su discípulo, acusados por los amos de aquella mujer. También fueron azotados con varas y después los pusieron en el calabozo de más adentro y les aseguraron los pies con cadenas.
Adorando a Dios Pablo y Silas, sucedió el milagro junto con un terremoto y su cadenas y las puertas de la cárcel fueron abiertas y el carcelero viendo cómo no huyeron sino que se entregaron a él, se rindió a Cristo a través de Pablo y junto con su familia se bautizaron.
*Este testimonio de la gracia de Dios que hubo en el hogar de un humilde carcelero, debe darnos esperanza de que Dios quiere salvar familias completas, si nosotros abrimos nuestro hogar y escuchamos a los siervos de Dios cuando nos prediquen la Palabra que es la Biblia.
El trabajo de Pablo y Silas además de la predicación fue el testimonio de no haber huido y de no permitir que los otros presos también huyeran, pues eso le hubiera costado la vida al carcelero.
Este hombre al ver la humildad de los siervos de Dios se postró a sus pies y les preguntó ¿Qué debo hacer para ser salvo? Y ellos le dijeron: cree en Jesús y serás salvo tu y tu casa.
*Jesús sigue siendo el mismo al igual que sus promesas, así es que hoy puedes clamarle a Él para que derrame Su gracia sobre tu vida y familia si aun hay personas que no se han entregado a Cristo y tampoco se han bautizado en las aguas (Romanos 10:8-13, Marcos 16:16).
Que por la fe en Jesús, siempre Él sea nuestra esperanza de gloria y nuestra victoria para cambiar el mundo (Colosenses 1:27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57). Aleluya.

Let us believe in Jesus and we will be saved

So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house.
Acts 16:31-32 (NKJV)

World Changer: Paul tells us a story on how in one of his trips after freeing a woman that was dedicated to the divination, he was taken prisoner and and imprisoned together with Silas his disciple, accused by the masters of that woman. They were also beaten with rods and then put in the innermost dungeon and had their feet chained.
Adoring God, Paul and Silas, a miracle happen along with an earthquake and his chains and the doors were opened and the jailer, seeing how they did not flee but gave themselves to him, surrendered to Christ through Paul and together with his family were baptized.
*This testimony of the grace of God that was in the home of a humble jailer, should give us hope that God wants to save entire families, if we open our home and listen to the servants of God when they preach to us the Word that is the Bible .
The work of Paul and Silas, in addition to preaching, was the testimony of not having fled and not allowing the other prisoners to also flee, because that would have cost the jailer his life.
Seeing the humility of the servants of God, this man prostrated himself at their feet and asked them, what must I do to be saved? And they told him: Believe in Jesus and you and your house will be saved.
*Jesus is still the same just as His promises, so today you can cry out to Him to pour His grace on your life and family if there are still people who have not given themselves to Christ and have not been baptized in water (Romans 10:8-13, Mark 16:16).
Through faith in Jesus, may He always be our hope of glory and our victory to change the world (Colossians 1:27, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 57). Hallelujah.
