Solo por la cruz.

Y llamando a la gente y a sus discípulos, les dijo: Si alguno quiere venir en pos de mí, niéguese a sí mismo, y tome su cruz, y sígame.

Cambiador del Mundo: Cuando Dios nos llama y nos invita a venir a rendir nuestra vida a Jesús, debemos entender que vamos a consagrarnos a El.
Nuestro llamado no debemos verlo como una imposición sino como un privilegio pues Dios nos escoge y El quiere reconciliarnos, pero nos manda a negarnos a nosotros mismos, tomar nuestra cruz y a seguirlo todos los días de nuestra vida aquí en la tierra.
En los evangelios leemos cómo Jesús invitaba a la gente diciéndoles: “si alguno quiere venir en pos de mí”. Aquí podemos percatarnos de que era una sencilla invitación para salvar sus vidas y tener un camino nuevo de regreso al Padre Celestial.
Estas palabras las dirigía a muchas personas sabiendo que solamente algunas aceptarían su invitación y los demás las ignorarían, como El mismo nos enseña en la parábola de la fiesta de Bodas donde Jesús dijo: el reino de los cielos es semejante a un Rey que hizo fiesta de bodas a su hijo; y envió a sus siervos a llamar a los convidados a las bodas, mas éstos no quisieron venir. Una y otra vez extendió su invitación y siempre la rechazaron e inclusive mataron a algunos de sus enviados (Mateo 22:1-14).
*Que la cruz no se vuelva una barrera entre Dios y nosotros, sino que hoy entendamos que necesitamos morir al Yo y dejar nuestro viejo hombre y naturaleza pecadora en la cruz de Cristo, como nos enseña el Apóstol Pablo en Romanos capítulo 6.
Hoy es el día de venir a Cristo y tomar tu cruz si aun no lo has hecho porque te espera una eternidad (Romanos 10:8-13).
Que el amor y la gracia de Dios nos permita que Cristo sea en nosotros la esperanza de gloria y nuestra victoria que cambia el mundo (Colosenses 1:27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57). Aleluya.

When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, «Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.

World Changer: When God calls us and invites us to come to surrender our lives to Jesus, we must understand that we are going to consacrate to Him.
We must not see our call as an imposition but as a privilege because God chooses us and He wants to reconcile us, but He commands us to deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow Him every day of our life here on earth.
In the Gospels we read how Jesus invited the people, saying: «If anyone wants to come after me.» Here we can see that it was a simple invitation to save their lives and have a new way back to Heavenly Father.
These words were addressed to many people, knowing that only some would accept His invitation and others would ignore them, as He Himself teaches us in the parable of the wedding feast where Jesus said: the kingdom of heaven is similar to a King who made a feast wedding to his child. And he sent his servants to call the guests to the wedding, but they would not come. Again and again he extended his invitation and they always rejected it and even killed some of his messengers (Matthew 22: 1-14).
*May the cross do not become a barrier between God and us, but today we understand that we need to die to the Self and leave our old man and sinful nature on the cross of Christ, as the Apostle Paul teaches us in Romans chapter 6.
Today is the day to come to Christ and take up your cross if you have not already done so because eternity awaits you (Romans 10: 8-13).
May God’s love and grace allow us that Christ be in us the hope of glory and our world-changing victory (Colossians 1:27, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 57). Hallelujah.
