Sostenme, para estar seguro, y que continuamente preste atención a tus estatutos. Has rechazado a todos los que se desvían de tus estatutos, porque su engaño es en vano.

Salmos 119:117-118 (LBLA)

Cambiador del Mundo: Es una gran bendición saber que Dios nos sustenta conforme a Su Palabra y nunca permitirá que como Sus hijos amados, seamos avergonzados y mucho menos que perdamos la esperanza en todas Sus promesas que nos enseña en la Biblia. Dios es el único que puede guardarnos para ser salvos por medio de la fe en Su Hijo Jesucristo y el gozo verdadero Él también nos lo ha dado, porque ahora sabemos que somos salvos, por haber sido perdonados por todos nuestros pecados, además de que una corona nos está esperando en los cielos, cuando partamos de esta tierra. El Rey David es un testimonio para nosotros de cómo peleó sus batallas físicas y espirituales durante toda su vida. De joven se defendió de fieras que constantemente atacaban el rebaño de ovejas de su padre que él cuidaba, después de que fue ungido como Rey por el Profeta Samuel, entonces los celos del Rey Saúl provocaron su persecución por muchos años hasta que finalmente Saúl murió y él fue instalado en el trono de Israel. Durante su reinado David tuvo que enfrentar muchos pueblos enemigos y todos los años de su juventud que hemos mencionado provocaron que él escribiera muchos salmos, en donde habla de la iniquidad de sus enemigos y cómo estas actitudes pretenden turbar el corazón de un hijo de Dios. En el Salmo 73 podemos leer todo el testimonio de lo que David sufría, y ese es el peligro para nosotros los cristianos nacidos de nuevo, que también caigamos en celos, que nos distraen de la voluntad de Dios, pues al igual que el Rey de Israel, nosotros debemos saber que estamos guardados y seguros en los brazos de Jesús y Él nos dará la victoria en el tiempo preciso. Así que busquemos la excelencia en nuestro caminar cristiano y Cristo en nosotros nuestra esperanza de gloria, nos permita cambiar el mundo (1 Corintios 15:57, Salmos 73, Colosenses 1:26-27). Aleluya.

 Hold me up, and I shall be safe, And I shall observe Your statutes continually. 118 You reject all those who stray from Your statutes, For their deceit is falsehood.

World Changer: It is a great blessing to know that God sustains us according to His Word and He will never allow that as beloved children of God may be ashamed and much less that we lose hope in all His promises taught in the Bible. God is the only one that can keep us to be saved through faith in His Son Jesuschrist and the true joy. He also has given us this joy because we now know that we are saved for being forgiven for all of our sins, besides a crown is awaiting us in heaven when we leave this earth. King David is a testimony for us of how he fought his physical and spiritual battles during his whole life. When he was young he defended himself from wild beasts that constantly attacked his father’s flock of sheep he cared for after he was anointed as King by the Prophet Samuel, then the jealousy of King Saul provoked his persecution for many years until finally Saul died and he was installed in the throne of Israel. Throughout his reign, he had to face many enemies and all of the years of his youth that we have mentioned provoked him to write many psalms where he speaks about the iniquity of his enemies and how these attitudes pretend to disturb the heart of a child of God. In the Psalm 73, we can read all the testimony of what David suffered and that is the danger for us the born again Christians, that we may also fall in jealousy that distracts us from the will of God, because just as the King of Israel we must know that we are kept and secure in the Jesus’ arms and He will give us the victory at the right time. Therefore, let us look for the excellence in our Christian walk and Christ in us our hope of glory may allow us change the world (1 Corinthians 15:57, Psalm 73, Colossians 1:26-27).
