No huyamos de la presencia de Dios
Pero Jonás se levantó para huir a Tarsis, lejos de la presencia del Señor. Y descendiendo a Jope, encontró un barco que iba a Tarsis, pagó el pasaje y entró en él para ir con ellos a Tarsis, lejos de la presencia del Señor.

Cambiador del Mundo: Dios le había dado a Jonás una palabra diciéndole: levántate y ve a Nínive aquella gran ciudad y pregona contra ella, poque ha subido su maldad delante de mí.
Lo triste es que la reacción de Jonás fue de huir de la presencia de Dios para ir a Tarsis y comprando boleto se fue lejos de la presencia de Dios.
Todos sabemos el final de la historia, de que se levantó un gran viento, los marineros echaron suertes, y señalaron que por causa de Jonás estaban en peligro de morir, por lo que le exigieron les explicara lo que estaba pasando con el mar embravecido y Jonás declaró que lo echaran al fondo del mar y la tempestad se detendría.
Jonás fue tragado por un pez grande y habló con Dios y clamó por una segunda oportunidad y Dios escuchó y envió al pez cerca de tierra, y vomitó a Jonás (Jonás capítulo 2).
*El enojo de Jonás fue, que Dios es demasiado bueno y siempre quiere que por gracia todos se salven, por eso no sintió necesidad de ir a Nínive. Lo triste sería que nosotros tampoco obedezcamos si Dios nos manda a un lugar o familia para predicarles.
Por lo tanto, no nos detengamos sino obedezcamos y cumplamos la voluntad de Dios para la cual fuimos llamados, pues eso nos traerá gran recompensa cuando terminemos nuestra carrera aquí en la tierra y nos presentemos delante del tribunal de Cristo (2 Corintios 5:10).
Hoy es tu día de salvación si puedes arrepentirte y declarar como pecado el haber estado lejos de la presencia de Dios, porque solo así serás perdonado y Jesús vendrá a habitar a tu corazón (Romanos 10:8-13).
Cristo en nosotros nuestra esperanza de gloria y nuestra victoria para cambiar el mundo (Colosenses 1:27, 1 Corintios 15:10,57). Aleluya.

Let us not run away from the presence of God
But Jonah ran away from the Lord and headed for Tarshish. He went down to Joppa, where he found a ship bound for that port. After paying the fare, he went aboard and sailed for Tarshish to flee from the Lord.
Jonah 1:3 (NIV)
World Changer: God had given Jonah a word telling him: get up and go to Nineveh, that great city, and proclaim against it, because its wickedness has come up before me.
The sad thing is that Jonah’s reaction was to run away from the presence of God to go to Tarshish and buying a ticket he went away from the presence of God.
We all know the end of the story, that a great wind arose, the sailors cast lots, and pointed out that because of Jonah they were in danger of dying, so they demanded that he explain to them what was happening with the rough sea and Jonah declared that they would cast him to the bottom of the sea and the storm would stop.
Jonah was swallowed by a big fish and he talked to God and cried out for a second chance and God listened and sent the fish close to land, and he vomited up Jonah (Jonah chapter 2).
*Jonah’s anger was that God is to good and He always wants that by grace all may be saved, that is why He didn’t think necessary to go to Nineveh. The sad thing would be that we don’t obey either if God sends us to a place or family to preach to them.
Therefore, let us not stop but obey and fulfill the will of God for which we were called, because that will bring us a great reward when we finish our race here on earth and present ourselves before the judgment seat of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:10) .
Today is your day of salvation if you can repent and declare it as sin to have been away from the presence of God, because only then will you be forgiven and Jesus will come to dwell in your heart (Romans 10:8-13).
Christ in us our hope of glory and our victory to change the world (Colossians 1:27, 1 Corinthians 15:10,57). Hallelujah.
