Hijos obedezcan a sus padres
Hijos, obedeced en el Señor a vuestros padres, porque esto es justo. Honra a tu padre y a tu madre, que es el primer mandamiento con promesa; para que te vaya bien, y seas de larga vida sobre la tierra.
Efesios 6:1-3 (RV1960)
Cambiador del Mundo: Es muy importante la honra a nuestros padres como nos lo enseña el Apóstol Pablo en su carta a los Efesios y como también lo habló Moisés al pueblo hebreo (Deuteronomio 5:16). La Palabra de Dios nos exhorta a cumplir este mandamiento de honrar a nuestros padres para que sean prolongados nuestros días aquí en la tierra y nos vaya bien en todo lo que Dios nos manda para hacer.
Por eso la importancia de que las familias vivamos guiados por la palabra de Dios que es la Biblia, pues de otra manera si vivimos por nuestro criterio o sentimientos, con toda seguridad nuestra vida no cumplirá el propósito eterno para el cual fuimos creados por Dios.
Solamente viviendo para Dios daremos el fruto de obediencia, honra, amor y sujeción para nuestro Creador y a nuestros padres. En Cristo, los cristianos nacidos de nuevo caminaremos en dirección opuesta a todo lo que el mundo nos ofrece, que por supuesto esta colmado de egoísmo, avaricia, injusticia y muerte espiritual y aún física, pues ninguno de nosotros puede negar que antes de ser cristianos, estábamos sin rumbo y totalmente rebeldes a la Palabra de Dios, pues tampoco la conocíamos como hoy la conocemos siendo cristianos e hijos de Dios.
*Que la gracia de Dios traiga revelación para no juzgar la labor de nuestros padres, sino al contrario, seamos de bendición para ellos y si todavía no conocen a Cristo, entendamos hoy que hay mayor urgencia que les demos testimonio para que puedan ser salvos de la ira venidera si se entregan a Jesús y lo declaran su Rey y Señor (Romanos 10:8-13).
Pidamos a Dios que dejemos atrás nuestro pasado y perdonemos cualquier ofensa, y que Cristo sea en nosotros nuestra esperanza de gloria y victoria para cambiar el mundo (Mateo 6:14-15, Colosenses 1:27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57). Aleluya.

Children obey your parents
Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise: “that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.”

World Changer: It is very important the honor to our parents just as Apostle Pual teaches us in his letter to the Ephesians and also Moses spoke to the Hebrew people (Deuteronomy 5:16). God’s Word exhorts us tu fulfill this commandment to honor our parents so that our days may be prolonged here on earth and everything will go well in all what God commands us to do.
That is why the importance that families live guided by God’s Word which is the Bible, because other way if we live by our own criteria or feelings, surely our life will not fulfill the eternal purpose for which we were created by God.
Only living for God we will give fruit of obedience, honor, love and subjection to our Creator and to our parents. In Christ, born again Christians will walk in the opposite direction to everything the world offers us, which of course is full of selfishness, greed, injustice and spiritual and even physical death because none of us can deny that before being Christians we were aimlessly and totally rebellious to the Word of God because we did not know it as we know it today as Christians and children of God.
*May the grace of God bring revelation so as not to judge the labor of our parents but on the contrary, that we may be of blessing to them and if they don’t know Christ yet, let us understand today that there is major urgency that we give testimony to them so that they may be saved from the wrath to come if they surrender to Jesus and declare Him his or her King and Lord (Romans 10:8-13).
Let us ask God to leave our past behind and forgive any offense and that Christ may be in us our hope of glory and victory to change the world (Matthew 6:14-15, Colossians 1:27, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 57). Hallelujah.
