La puerta angosta

Y alguien le dijo: Señor, ¿son pocos los que se salvan? Y él les dijo: Esforzaos a entrar por la puerta angosta; porque os digo que muchos procurarán entrar, y no podrán.
Lucas 13:23-24 (RV1960)

Cambiador del Mundo: Estas palabras de Jesús deben provocar en nosotros una reflexión y pensar cómo estamos llevando nuestra relación personal con Él como hijos de Dios.
Cuando le preguntan a Jesús cuántos se salvan, El no duda en ningún momento en dar una respuesta donde exhorta a la gente a esforzarse para entrar por la puerta angosta y caminar por un camino estrecho, y además da una seria advertencia de que serán muchas personas que procurarán hacer la voluntad de Dios Su Padre, pero pocos son los que podrán lograrlo y esto tiene que ver como una consecuencia de que el mundo día a día está ofreciendo más pecado y las personas lejos de consagrarse a Dios, le dan lugar muchas veces a esa provocación y terminan perdiendo su relación con Dios apartándose del Cuerpo de Cristo.
También Jesús nos da el ejemplo de un padre de familia que cierra la puerta y algunos de los hijos se quedan afuera y aunque empiezan a llamar a la puerta, y claman que les abra, el padre de familia responde que no sabe de donde son, y aunque tratan de explicarle y justificarse no les abrió la puerta, y ellos quedándose afuera escucharán estas palabras; apártense de mí todos ustedes hacedores de maldad (Lucas 13:25-28).
*Por eso es necesario que la gracia de Dios la recibamos desde el principio de nuestra conversión a Cristo, porque solamente a través de ella, seremos fortalecidos y preparados para estar siempre atentos por medio del Espíritu Santo que nos ha sido dado para pelear la buena batalla de la fe y permanecer firmes en la voluntad de Dios Padre.
Hoy es tu día de salvación si te entregas a Jesús y le confiesas todos tus pecados y lo declaras tu Señor y Salvador (Romanos 10:8-13).
Cristo en nosotros nuestra esperanza de gloria y nuestra victoria para cambiar el mundo (Colosenses 1:27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57). Aleluya.

The narrow door

Then one said to Him, “Lord, are there few who are saved?” And He said to them, “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able.
Luke 13:23-24 (NKJV)

World Changer: These Jesus’s words must provoke in us a reflection and think how are we having our personal relationship with Him as God’s children.
When they ask Jesus how many are saved, He has no doubt at any time to give an answer where He exhorts the people to try to go through by the narrow door and walk by a narrow path and besides, He gives a warning that many people that will try to do God’s will His Father, but few are going to make it and this has to do as a consecuence that the world is offering every day more sin and the people far from consacrating to God, they give place many times to this provocation and they end up loosing their relationship with God separating from the Body of Christ.
Jesus also gives us the example of a father of a family who closes the door and some of the children stay outside and although they start knocking on the door and cry out for him to open it, the father replies that he does not know where they are from and although they try to explain and justify themselves, he did not open the door for them and they stay outside and they will listen to these words: depart from me, all you evildoers (Luke 13:25-28).
*That is why it is necessary that God’s grace we receive it from the beginning of our conversion to Christ because only through it we will be strengthened and prepared to always be attentive through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us to fight the good fight of faith and remain firm in the will of God the Father.
Today is your day of salvation if you surrender to Jesus and confess all your sins to Him and declare Him your Lord and Savior (Romans 10:8-13).
Christ in us our hope of glory and our victory to change the world (Colossians 1:27, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 57). Hallelujah.
