Ejercitémonos en la piedad de Cristo
Porque el ejercicio corporal para poco es provechoso, pero la piedad para todo aprovecha, pues tiene promesa de esta vida presente, y de la venidera . Palabra fiel es esta, y digna de ser recibida por todos.
1 Timoteo 4:8-9 (RVR1960)
Cambiador del mundo: Un hombre piadoso, es aquel que sirve al pueblo de Dios derramando su vida por el desamparado, perdido y necesitado, sin importarle quien es la persona, porque no hace acepción de personas. El mismo Jesucristo nos dejó este legado de piedad y de verdadero amor, nombrándolo inclusive como un nuevo mandamiento, enseñándonos que el verdadero amor, es dar la vida por nuestro prójimo (Juan 15:12-14).
El Apóstol Pablo también instruyó a su hijo en la fe el joven Timoteo y le exhortó que fuera prudente, amoroso, piadoso y fiel (1 Timoteo 4:12, 6:11).
Todos nosotros los cristianos nacidos de nuevo fuimos rescatados por Jesús de un mundo egoísta, que esta negando la fe, el amor y la piedad, haciendo lo contrario a lo que nos enseña y demanda la Palabra de Dios.
El sacrificio de Jesús en la cruz del calvario, fue precisamente para acabar con la naturaleza caída y pecadora del hombre a raíz del pecado de Adán y Eva en el huerto. Jesús vino a morir para pagar el precio del pecado de toda la humanidad, para que aquel que se arrepintiera y lo confesara como su salvador, fuera salvo.
¿Qué movió a Jesús para despojarse de su deidad y humillarse hasta lo sumo como ser humano? (Filipenses 2:1-11). Fue el amor, la misericordia y su piedad por todos nosotros.
*Por lo tanto todos nosotros también, necesitamos no solamente proclamarnos cristianos de palabra, sino mostrar por la gracia de Dios, el testimonio y la vida de Cristo en nosotros, siendo personas de fe, llenas de su amor y piedad.
Hoy es tu día para entregarte a Jesús si aun no lo has hecho arrepintiéndote y confesándole todos tus pecados y serás perdonado y recibirás la vida eterna. Cristo en nosotros la esperanza de gloria y nuestra victoria para cambiar el mundo (Romanos 10:8-13, Colosenses 1:2, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57). Aleluya.

Let us exercise ourselves in the piety of Christ
For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance.
1 Timothy 4:8-9 (NKJV)
World Changer: A pious man is one who serves the people of God by pouring out his life for the helpless, lost and needy, regardless of who the person is, because he is no respecter of persons. Jesus Christ Himself left us this legacy of piety and true love, even naming it as a new commandment, teaching us that true love is giving our lives for our neighbor (John 15:12-14).
Apostle Paul also instructed his son in the faith, the young Timothy and exhorted him to be prudent, loving, pious and faithful (1 Timothy 4:12, 6:11).
All born again Christians were rescued by Jesus from a selfish world that is denying faith, love and and piety, doing the opposite of what the Word of God teaches and demands.
The sacrifice of Jesus on the cross of Calvary was precisely to end the fallen and sinful nature of man as a result of the sin of Adam and Eve in the garden. Jesus came to die to pay the price for the sin of all humanity, so that whoever would repent and confess Him as their savior would be saved.
What moved Jesus to divest Himself of His deity and humiliate Himself to the utmost as a human being? (Philippians 2:1-11). It was love, mercy and His pity for all of us.
*Therefore, all of us also need not only to proclaim ourselves Christians by word of mouth but also to show by the grace of God, the testimony and life of Christ in us being people of faith, full of His love and mercy.
Today is your day to surrender to Jesus if you have not already done so by repenting and confessing all your sins and you will be forgiven and receive eternal life. Christ in us the hope of glory and our victory to change the world (Romans 10:8-13, Colossians 1:2, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 57). Hallelujah.
