Derramemos el amor de Dios en el prójimo

Doy gracias a mi Dios siempre, haciendo mención de ti en mis oraciones, porque oigo de tu amor y de la fe que tienes hacia el Señor Jesús y hacia todos los santos; y ruego que la comunión de tu fe llegue a ser eficaz por el conocimiento de todo lo bueno que hay en vosotros mediante Cristo. Filemón 4-6 (LBLA)

Cambiador del Mundo: Filemón era un hombre muy próspero en la iglesia de Colosas, que se había convertido a Cristo y era de gran bendición a todos los hermanos en la fe, y por eso Pablo lo exhorta a que haga una excepción a Onésimo que se había convertido a Jesús y quien se había escapado de la casa de Filemón donde servía.
Ahora lo importante del devocional de hoy, es que prácticamente en todas sus cartas, Pablo comienza proclamando gracia y paz sobre aquellos que ministraba, deseando que el fuego de su amor por Dios y por nuestro Señor Jesucristo, siempre se mantuviera.
Pablo también nos señala que él era un intercesor de oración por la vida de muchos cristianos incluyendo a Filemón y resaltaba el gran amor y fe que tenía este hijo de Dios, los cuales derramaba en el Cuerpo de Cristo. Este era un desafío para muchos de los cristianos de esa época porque entendemos que Filemón prevaleció hasta el final de su carrera como un verdadero siervo de Dios.
*Además Pablo expresa gran gozo por el amor tan profundo y la gracia que Filemón derramaba cuando confortaba los corazones de sus hermanos en la fe, y esa es la medida con la que seremos medidos cuando nos presentemos delante del tribunal de Cristo, para dar cuenta de cuánto amamos a Dios y testificamos Su palabra y cuanto amamos y servimos a nuestro prójimo.
Nunca es tarde para arrepentirnos y entregarnos a Jesús para ser salvos y comenzar nuestra carrera de gracia, amor y servicio al Cuerpo de Cristo (Romanos 10:8-13).
Cristo en nosotros nuestra esperanza de gloria y nuestra victoria para cambiar el mundo (Colosenses 1:27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57). Aleluya.

Let us pour out the love of God on our neighbor

I always thank my God as I remember you in my prayers, because I hear about your love for all his holy people and your faith in the Lord Jesus. I pray that your partnership with us in the faith may be effective in deepening your understanding of every good thing we share for the sake of Christ.
Philemon 1:4-6 (NIV)

World Changer: Philemon was a very prosperous man in the church at of Colossae, who had converted to Christ and was a great blessing to all the brothers in the faith, and for this reason Paul exhorts him to make an exception for Onesimus who had converted to Jesus and who had escaped from Philemon’s house where he served.
Now the important thing about today’s devotional is that practically in all his letters, Paul begins by proclaiming grace and peace over those he ministered to, wishing that the fire of his love for God and for our Lord Jesus Christ would always remain.
Paul also points out that he was a prayer intercessor for the lives of many Christians, including Philemon, and highlighted the great love and faith that this son of God had, which he poured out on the Body of Christ. This was a challenge for many of the Christians of that time because we understand that Philemon prevailed until the end of his career as a true servant of God.
*Besides, Paul expresses great joy for the love so deep and the grace that Philemon poured when he comforted the hearts of his brothers in faith, and that is the measure with which we will be measured when we present ourselves before the judgment seat of Christ, to account for how much we love God and testify to His Word and how much we love and serve our neighbor.
It is never to late to repent and surrender to Jesus to be saved and start our race of grace, love and service to the Body of Christ (Romans 10:8-13).
Christ in us our hope of glory and our victory to change the world (Colossians 1:27, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 57). Hallelujah.
