Guardados en las promesas de Dios
Y dijo: Si ahora, Señor, he hallado gracia ante tus ojos, vaya ahora el Señor en medio de nosotros, aunque el pueblo sea de dura cerviz; y perdona nuestra iniquidad y nuestro pecado, y tómanos por posesión tuya.
Éxodo 34:9 (LBLA)
Cambiador del Mundo: Después de sacar a Israel de la tierra de Egipto después de mas de cuatrocientos años de esclavitud, Dios estaba instruyendo a Moisés de cómo entrarían a Canaán. Dios dijo: al que pecare contra mí, a éste raeré Yo de mi libro, porque Dios estaba dejando en claro las instrucciones para que el pueblo fuera guiado por el ángel de Dios caminando delante de ellos, pero si ellos fallaban, Dios iba a reprender fuertemente su pecado (Éxodo 32:32-34).
Moisés le respondió a Dios pidiéndole que los acompañara en esta jornada, y Dios respondió: Mi presencia irá contigo y te daré descanso. Y Moisés respondió: si tu presencia no ha de ir conmigo, no nos saques de aquí (Éxodo 33:11-18).
*Es muy impactante la promesa de Dios de acompañarlos, porque no era algo ligero lo que iban a hacer ya que dejarían atrás su vida de esclavitud de generaciones y entrarían por la gracia de Dios a la tierra prometida donde fluiría leche y miel.
Muy pocas veces se hablaba de la gracia en ese tiempo pues estaban bajo la Ley, pero aquí las escrituras mencionan muchas veces la gracia cuando el pueblo se estaba preparando para su salida (Leer Éxodo capítulos 33 y 34).
Necesitamos también nosotros pedirle a Dios que Su presencia siempre nos acompañe cuando atravesemos pruebas y seamos guiados por Su Palabra.
Clamemos al Señor que nos de hambre y sed de Su presencia, de su fragancia y de su amor y que Cristo nos sostenga en nuestro caminar, para que nunca nos apartemos de la fe y entremos a la Ciudad Celestial por la eternidad.
Hoy es tu día de salvación si te entregas a Jesús y le permites que El sea tu Rey y Señor así como tu esperanza de gloria para cambiar el mundo (Romanos 10:8-13, Colosenses 1:27). Aleluya.

Kept in the promises of God
“Lord,” he said, “if I have found favor in your eyes, then let the Lord go with us. Although this is a stiff-necked people, forgive our wickedness and our sin, and take us as your inheritance.” Exodus 34:9 (NIV)
World Changer: After leading Israel out of the land of Egypt after more than four hundred years of slavery, God was instructing Moses on how they would enter Canaan. God said: whoever sins against me, him or her I will erase from my book because God was making clear the instructions for the people to be guided by the angel of God walking before them, but if they failed, God was going to rebuke strongly their sin (Exodus 32:32-34).
Moses answered God asking Him to accompany them on this journey, and God replied: My presence will go with you and I will give you rest. And Moses replied: if your presence will not go with me, do not take us out of here (Exodus 33:11-18).
*God’s promise to accompany them was shocking because what they were going to do was not something light, since they would leave behind their life of slavery for generations and enter by the grace of God into the promised land where milk and honey would flow.
Few times grace was spoken of at that time because they were under the Law, but here the scriptures mention grace many times when the people were preparing for their departure (Read Exodus chapters 33 and 34).
We also need to ask God that His presence always be with us when we go through trials and are guided by His Word.
Let us cry out to the Lord to give us hunger and thirst for His presence, His fragrance and His love and that Christ sustain us in our walk, so that we never deviate from faith and enter the Celestial City for eternity.
Today is your day of salvation if you surrender to Jesus and allow Him to be your King and Lord as well as your hope of glory to change the world (Romans 10:8-13, Colossians 1:27). Hallelujah.
