Un encuentro con Jesús
Y cayendo en tierra, oyó una voz que le decía: Saulo, Saulo, ¿por qué me persigues? Él dijo: ¿Quién eres, Señor? Y le dijo: Yo soy Jesús, a quien tú persigues; dura cosa te es dar coces contra el aguijón. Él, temblando y temeroso, dijo: Señor, ¿qué quieres que yo haga? Y el Señor le dijo: Levántate y entra en la ciudad, y se te dirá lo que debes hacer.
Hechos 9:4-6 (RV1960)
Cambiador del Mundo: Un verdadero encuentro con Jesús, nos tiene que llevar a la Biblia y volver a leer los versículos del día de hoy, donde vemos que el fariseo Saulo es confrontado por Cristo cuando iba camino a Damasco, y Saulo le pregunta a Jesús: qué quieres que yo haga? Y Jesús le contesta: levántate y entra en la ciudad y se te dirá lo que debes hacer.
Pablo (antes Saulo) no solamente obedeció esta orden de Jesús sino que también dedicó el resto de su vida a servirle escribiendo trece cartas del nuevo testamento y al final pagando con su propia vida el precio de su llamado, ya que fue decapitado por Nerón el Emperador romano.
El Apóstol Pablo no solo dejó su vida farisea y mundana, sino que se consagró a hacer toda la voluntad de Dios, dejando el puesto importante que tenía entre los religiosos y empezando a vivir por fe sin absolutamente nada y siendo diariamente perseguido por muchos enemigos que él se ganó por predicar a Cristo.
*Nosotros también no debemos detenernos por el solo hecho de dejar nuestra vida pasada, sino que debemos clamar a Dios por Su fe y gracia en nosotros, para que tengamos hambre y sed de Su Palabra y que Su Espíritu Santo en nosotros siempre mantenga nuestro corazón rebosando de amor y esperanza hacia los demás pues nos solo se trata de nosotros y nuestra familia, sino del Cuerpo de Cristo que es la iglesia.
Hoy es tu día de convertirte y consagrarte a Jesús para ser salvo para que El sea tu esperanza de gloria y victoria para cambiar el mundo (Romanos 10:8-13, Colosenses 1:27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57).

An encounter with Jesus
Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?” And he said, “Who are You, Lord?” Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads.” So he, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do You want me to do?” Then the Lord said to him, “Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”
Acts 9:4-6 (NKJV)
World Changer: A true encounter with Jesus has to take us to the Bible and reread today’s verses, where we see that the Pharisee Saul is confronted by Christ on his way to Damascus, and Saul asks Jesus: what do you want me to do? And Jesus answers him: Get up and go into the city and you will be told what you must do.
Paul (formerly Saul) not only obeyed this order of Jesus but also dedicated the rest of his life to serving Him by writing thirteen letters of the new testament and in the end paying the price of his call with his own life, since he was beheaded by Nero the Roman Emperor.
The Apostle Paul not only left his Pharisaic and worldly life, but he consecrated himself to do all the will of God, leaving the important position he had among the religious and beginning to live by faith with absolutely nothing and being daily persecuted by many enemies who he earned by preaching Christ.
*We also must not stop just for the fact of leaving our past life but we must cry out to God by His faith and grace in us so we may have hunger and thirst of His Word and that His Holy Spirit in us always keeps our hearts overflowing with love and hope towards others because it is not only about us and our family but about the Body of Christ that is the church.
Today is your day to convert and consecrate yourself to Jesus to be saved so that He may be your hope of glory and victory to change the world (Romans 10:8-13, Colossians 1:27, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 57).
