Nuestro salvador y protector es Dios

El Señor es mi luz y mi salvación;¿a quién temeré? El Señor es la fortaleza de mi vida;¿de quién tendré temor? Aunque un ejército acampe contra mí,no temerá mi corazón;aunque en mi contra se levante guerra,a pesar de ello, estaré confiado.
Salmos 27:1, 3 (LBLA)

Cambiador del Mundo: El Rey David aprendió que solo en Dios podía confiar en cada decisión. Cuando era joven él era un humilde pastor y cada día enfrentaba los peligros de este oficio y tenía que pelear contra fieras que atacaban su rebaño.
Cuando David creció, su confianza se reafirmó en el Dios Poderoso de Israel y pudo enfrentar y vencer al gigante Goliat que tenía amenazado por muchos días a el ejército israelita incluyendo al Rey Saúl.
Para David venir a Dios y enfrentar esa batalla, requirió una honda y cinco piedras para acabar con este filisteo, cortarle la cabeza y hacer huir al resto del ejército enemigo.
*Nada ha cambiado para Dios con nosotros sus hijos, si tenemos esa misma gracia y fe para ir a nuestras batallas con la confianza de que Dios nos protegerá y dará la victoria si actuamos y peleamos conforme a Su propósito.
No podemos confiar en nosotros mismos y mucho menos en las promesas del mundo, sean riquezas, fama, relaciones sociales o cualquier otro ofrecimiento que recibamos porque de todas maneras perderemos esa batalla (Isaías capítulos 30 y 31).
El mundo quiere que dependamos de él, pero Dios desde el primer momento que puso al hombre en la tierra, le extendió Su paternidad y toda la provisión que recibió Adán en el huerto y que después compartió con Eva, pero ambos renunciaron a la protección y dirección de su Creador y perdieron toda su herencia por causa del pecado y fueron echados para siempre de la presencia de Dios.
Hoy es tu día de regresar a Dios o de convertirte en un cristiano nacido de nuevo si te rindes a El (Romanos 10:8-13).
Cristo en nosotros nuestra esperanza de gloria y victoria que cambia el mundo (Colosenses 1:27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57). Aleluya.

Our saviour and protector is God

The Lord is my light and my salvation—

of whom shall I be afraid?

though war break out against me,

World Changer: King David learned that only in God he could trust in each decision.
When he was young he was a humble sheperd and each day he faced the perils of it and he had to fight against beasts that attacked his flock.
When David grew up, his trust was reafirmed in the God Almighty of Israel and he could face and defeat the giant Goliath who had threatened the Israelite army for many days including King Saul.
For David to come to God and face that battle, it took a slingshot and five stones to finish off this Philistine, cut off his head, and put the rest of the enemy army to flight.
*Nothing has changed for God with us, His children, if we have that same grace and faith to go to our battles with the same confidence that God will protect us and give us the victory if we act and fight according to His purpose.
We can not trust in ourselves much less in the promises of the world, be it riches, fame, social relationships or any other offer we receive because we will lose that battle anyway (Isaiah chapters 30 and 31).
The world wants us to depend on it, but God, from the first moment that man was placed on earth, extended His paternity to him and all the provision that Adam received in the garden and later shared with Eve, but both gave up protection and direction of their Creator and lost all their inheritance because of sin and were cast out forever from the presence of God.
Today is your day to return to God or become a born again Christian if you surrender to Him (Romans 10:8-13).
Christ in us our world-changing hope of glory and victory (Colossians 1:27, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 57). Hallelujah.

Velemos y oremos siempre a Dios

Velad y orad, para que no entréis en tentación; el espíritu a la verdad está dispuesto, pero la carne es débil.
Marcos 14:38 (RV1960)

Cambiador del Mundo: Estando Jesús en el Getsemaní y separándose para orar, El exhortó a Sus discípulos a que velasen y orasen para que no entraran en tentación, porque el espíritu quiere hacerlo pero entendamos que la carne es débil. Y esto lo dijo porque cuando El se apartó para orar a Su Padre, los encontró dormidos y eso sucedió tres veces, porque los ojos de los discípulos estaban cargados de sueño y no sabían que responderle.
*Una de las áreas más difíciles para nosotros los cristianos es permanecer en nuestra vida velando y orando a Dios, porque de alguna manera esta tarea nos guardará por gracia del pecado, fortalecerá nuestra fe y nos permitirá estar más cerca del Señor.
*A lo largo de la Biblia, nos percatamos de la necesidad de doblar nuestras rodillas y vivir clamando a Dios con humildad, para que nos llene de Su amor, gracia y misericordia y para que Su Espíritu Santo, sea enviado a nuestro corazón y nos permita vivir por su gracia, una vida de obediencia y santidad que le agrade a Él.
Velar y orar, no lo debemos ver como algo impuesto por Dios, sino al contrario como Su regalo, que dispone nuestro corazón para estar más cerca de El y disfrutar día a día nuestro caminar en su propósito.
En el antiguo testamento se nos enseña que si nos humillamos e invocamos a Dios y oramos y buscamos Su rostro, y nos convertimos de nuestros malos caminos, El oirá desde los cielos, perdonará nuestros pecados y sanará nuestra tierra (2 Crónicas 7:14).
Este tiene que ser nuestro propósito como hijos de Dios y es la única manera de que la iglesia pueda mantenerse firme en la Palabra y en estos tiempos difíciles.
Hoy es tu día de salvacion si recibes al Señor en tu corazón y lo declaras tu esperanza de gloria y tu victoria para cambiar el mundo (Romanos 10:8-13, Colosenses 1:27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57). Aleluya.

Let us always watch and pray to God

Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Mark 14:38 (NKJV)

World Changer: Being Jesus in Gethsemane and separating to pray, He exhorted His disciples to watch and pray so that they do not enter into temptation, because the spirit wants to do so but we understand that the flesh is weak. And He said this because when He left to pray to His Father, He found them asleep and that happened three times, because the eyes of the disciples were full of sleep and they did not know what to answer Him.
*One of the most difficult areas for us Christians is to stay in our lives watching and praying to God because in some way this task will save us from sin by grace, strengthen our faith and allow us to be closer to the Lord.
*Throughout the Bible, we realize the need to bend our knees and live crying out to God with humility, so that He fills us with His love, grace and mercy and so that His Holy Spirit is sent to our hearts and allows us to live by His grace, a life of obedience and holiness that pleases Him.
We should not see watching and praying as something imposed by God, but on the contrary as His gift, which disposes our hearts to be closer to Him and enjoy our daily walk in His purpose.
In the old testament we are taught that if we humble ourselves and call on God and pray and seek His face, and turn from our wicked ways, He will hear from heaven, forgive our sins and heal our land (2 Chronicles 7:14).
This has to be our purpose as God’s children and it is the only way that the Church can stay firm in the Word and in these difficult times.
Today is your day of salvation if you receive the Lord in your heart and declare him your hope of glory and your victory to change the world (Romans 10:8-13, Colossians 1:27, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 57). Hallelujah.

Conocer a Jesús es morir al Yo

Con Cristo estoy juntamente crucificado, y ya no vivo yo, mas vive Cristo en mí; y lo que ahora vivo en la carne, lo vivo en la fe del Hijo de Dios, el cual me amó y se entregó a sí mismo por mí. No desecho la gracia de Dios; pues si por la ley fuese la justicia, entonces por demás murió Cristo.
Gálatas 2:20-21 (RV1960)

Cambiador del Mundo: Conocer a Jesús, es estar muertos a nuestro Yo o sea a nuestros deleites, placeres, emociones, planes, y otras muchas cosas en las que antes vivíamos sin contar en absoluto con el consejo de Dios.
*Cuando hablamos de que por gracia somos cristianos nacidos de nuevo, debemos entender que nos hemos levantado del trono de nuestra vida y lo cedimos a nuestro Señor Jesucristo, para que El tome las decisiones veinticuatro horas al día, desde el instante que nos convertimos hasta el último día que vivamos aquí en la tierra.
Porque eso es lo que desea un verdadero cristiano, ya no depender del mundo, ni de su falsa doctrina que nos ofrece riquezas y deleites temporales, que terminan tristemente destruyendo nuestra persona y nuestra familia sin importar la edad que tengamos ni la posición social y económica en la que estemos.
Pablo sabía perfectamente que le costaría todo dejar de ser un fariseo con un excelente puesto y relaciones laborales, para convertirse en un cristiano perseguido y despreciado por todos los religiosos de la época, sin embargo nunca su ánimo decayó y permaneció pagando el precio de su llamado y de negarse a sí mismo hasta el día que fue decapitado injustamente por el malvado Emperador de Roma, Nerón. (2 Timoteo capítulo 4).
Así que hoy debemos tomar la decisión de morir a sí mismo, si aun no lo hemos hecho, para que nuestro cristianismo sea real y de bendición a muchas personas que todavía no se entregan a Cristo y que necesitan arrepentirse para que El sea su Rey y Señor (Romanos 10:8-13).
Cristo en nosotros la esperanza de gloria y victoria que cambia el mundo (Colosenses 1:27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57). Aleluya.

To know Jesus is to die to Self

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.”
Galatians 2:20-21 (NKJV)

World Changer: To know Jesus is to be dead to our Self, meaning to our delights, pleasures, emotions, plans and other many things in which we lived before without counting on the advice of God at all.
*When we talk that by grace we are born again Christians we must understand that we have risen from the throne of our life and we gave it to our Lord Jesus Christ, so that He makes the decisions twenty-four hours a day, from the moment we convert until the last day we live here on earth.
Because that is what a true Christian wishes, not to depend on the world or a false doctrine that offers us riches and temporary delights that sadly end destroying our self and our family no matter the age we have nor social and economic position in which we are.
Paul knew perfectly that it will cost him everything to stop being a Pharisee with an excellent position and labor relations, to become a Christian persecuted and despised by all the religious of the time, however his spirit never wavered and he remained paying the price of his call and of denying himself until the day he was unjustly beheaded by the evil Emperor of Rome, Nero. (2 Timothy chapter 4).
So, today we must take the decision to die to ourselves if we have not yet done so, so that our Christianity is real and a blessing to many people who have not yet surrendered to Christ and who need to repent so that He may be their King and Lord (Romans 10:8-13).
Christ in us the hope of glory and victory that changes the world (Colossians 1:27, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 57). Hallelujah.

La salvación una carrera de amor

He peleado la buena batalla, he acabado la carrera, he guardado la fe.
2 Timoteo 4:7 (RV1960)

Cambiador del Mundo: La carrera de nuestra salvación, es muy especial y debe de estar llena del amor de Dios para nuestro projimo, porque no estamos en competencia con otros corredores sino que al contrario, corremos con otros y los ayudamos también a cruzar la meta para que reciban la corona de justicia, la cual nos dará el Señor en aquel día que nos presentemos delante de El para disfrutar de la eternidad.
*Nuestro caminar cristiano, es un regalo de Dios otorgado por Su gracia porque todos sabemos muy bien de donde venimos y que la gran mayoría, escapó de la muerte y del pecado en el momento más crítico de su vida y por el amor de Dios en cada uno de nosotros, hoy podemos disfrutar de una salvación tan grande y celebrar que en Cristo somos más que vencedores. Además por nuestro testimonio seguramente habrán muchas personas que ahora conocen a Jesús y también están disfrutando de Su amor gracia y misericordia. (Romanos 8:37)
La carrera de la fe implica depender totalmente de Jesús, debemos fortalecernos día a día para terminarla y no haber corrido en vano.
En nuestro llamado siempre tendremos desafíos y situaciones adversas que vamos a enfrentar y por supuesto que solo con Cristo venceremos y podremos animar a otros hermanos en la fe a permanecer firmes en su llamado (Filipenses 4:13).
Necesitamos alimentarnos de la Palabra de Dios para estar fuertes en nuestro diario vivir, pasar tiempo de oración para escuchar a Jesús, porque esa es la estrategia de nuestra carrera, el vivir dependiendo de Dios.
Hoy puede ser tu día de salvación si todavía no conoces a Jesús y decides entregarte a El, para que sea tu Rey y Señor y empieces tu carrera hacia la vida eterna en los cielos (Romanos 10:8-13).
Clamemos siempre que Cristo sea en nosotros nuestra esperanza de gloria y nuestra victoria para cambiar el mundo (Colosenses 1:27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57). Aleluya.

Salvation a career of love

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
2 Timothy 4:7 (NKJV)

World Changer: The career of our salvation is very special and it must be filled with God’s love for our neighbor because we are not competing with other runners, on the contrary, we run with others and help them also to cross the finish line so that they receive the crown of justice which the Lord will give us on that day when we present ourselves before Him to enjoy eternity.
*Our Christian walk is a gift from God given by His grace because we all know very well where we came from and that the great majority escaped from death and sin in the moment most critical of their lives and by the love of God en each one of us, today we can enjoy of a salvation so big and celebrate that in Christ we are more than conquerors. Besides, because of our testimony surely there will be many people who now know Jesus and are also enjoying His love grace and mercy. (Romans 8:37)
The race of faith implies totally depending on Jesus, we must strengthen ourselves day by day to finish it and not have run in vain.
In our call we will always have challenges and adverse situations that we are going to face and of course that only with Christ will we win and we will be able to encourage other brothers in the faith to remain firm in their call (Philippians 4:13).
We need to feed on the Word of God to be strong in our daily lives, spend time in prayer to listen to Jesus, because that is the strategy of our career, to live depending on God.
Today may be your day of salvation if you don’t know Jesus yet and decide to surrender yourself to Him so that He may be your King and Lord and start your career towards the eternal life in heaven (Romans 10:8-13).
Let us always cry out that Christ may be in us our hope of glory and our victory to change the world (Colossians 1:27, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 57). Hallelujah.

No hagamos acepción de personas.

Pero si hacéis acepción de personas, cometéis pecado, y quedáis convictos por la ley como transgresores.
Santiago 2:9 (1960)

Cambiador del Mundo: En la carta de Santiago, se nos hace mucho énfasis para que vivamos una vida cristiana de testimonio y cultivemos nuestra fe en nuestro Señor Jesucristo no haciendo acepción de personas. Si alguien viene a nuestra congregación con anillo de oro y ropa esplendida, y también entra un hombre con vestido andrajoso, no podemos mirar con agrado al que tiene la ropa esplendida y decirle siéntate aquí en buen lugar, mientras despreciamos al pobre al que inclusive lo dejamos en pie o lo sentamos en un lugar no apropiado (Santiago 2:1-3).
Porque recordemos que Dios ha elegido también a los pobres de este mundo para que sean ricos en fe y herederos de Su Reino que El ha prometido a los que le aman. Así que de ninguna manera los hijos de Dios deben afrentar al pobre o no tenerlos en la misma estima que a todas las demás personas de la congregación.
También el Apóstol Pablo nos señala en su primera carta a los Corintios, que Dios escogió a lo necio de este mundo para avergonzar a los sabios, por cuanto el mundo no escuchó ni recibió la sabiduría de Dios y por eso Dios tomó lo insensato y lo débil para avergonzar a los fuertes. Además Pablo pidió que nos revisáramos y nos diéramos cuenta que muchos de nosotros no éramos poderosos ni nobles, ni sabios, sino que lo necio escogió Dios.
*Más ahora en Cristo todos recibimos por gracia la sabiduría de Dios, Su justificación, Su santificación y Su redención; para que como está escrito, el que se gloría, gloríese en el Señor (1 Corintios 1:18-31).
Hoy es tu día de salvación si te arrepientes y confiesas a Cristo como tu Rey y Señor (Romanos 10:8-13).
Que Cristo sea siempre en nosotros nuestra esperanza de gloria y nuestra victoria para cambiar el mundo (Colosenses 1:27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57). Aleluya.

World Changer: In the letter of James, it is pointed out so that we may live a Christian life of testimony and let us cultivate our faith in our Lord Jesuschrist not showing partiality of people. If some one comes to our congregation with a gold ring and splendid clothes and also a man in tattered clothing enters, we cannot look with pleasure at the one who has splendid clothes and tell him to sit here in a good place, while we despise the poor man who we even leave standing or sit him in an inappropriate place (James 2:1 -3).
Because let us remember that God has also chosen the poor of this world so that they may be rich in faith and heirs of His Kingdom that He has promised to the ones who love Him. So in no way should God’s children insult the poor or not hold them in the same esteem as everyone else in the congregation.
Also the Apostle Paul points out in his first letter to the Corinthians, that God chose the foolish of this world to shame the wise, because the world did not listen or receive the wisdom of God and that is why God took the foolish and weak to shame the strong. In addition, Paul asked us to review ourselves and realize that many of us were not powerful, noble, or wise, but God chose what was foolish.
*But now in Christ we all receive by grace God’s wisdom, His justification, His sanctification and His redemption so that as it is written, he who glories, may glory in the Lord (1 Corinthians 1:18-31).
Today is your day of salvation if you repent and confess Christ as your King and Lord (Romans 10:8-13).
May Christ always be in us our hope of glory and our victory to change the world (Colossians 1:27, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 57). Hallelujah.

Dios santifica y guarda en paz a Su pueblo

Y el mismo Dios de paz os santifique por completo; y todo vuestro ser, espíritu, alma y cuerpo, sea guardado irreprensible para la venida de nuestro Señor Jesucristo. Fiel es el que os llama, el cual también lo hará.
1 Tesalonicenses 5:23-24 (RV1960)

Cambiador del Mundo: *Pablo el Apóstol está exhortando en esta carta, a todos los que se convirtieron a Jesús para que lleven una vida en santidad por medio de la gracia del Hijo de Dios.
Vivir en santidad implica arrepentirse y confesarle todos nuestros pecados y creer en el Hijo de Dios (Romanos 10:8-13), pedirle que El sea nuestro Rey y Señor y que ponga en nosotros Su Espíritu Santo, para que nuestra vida a partir de ese día, camine en la voluntad de nuestro Creador.
Dios es el que santifica, el que nos guarda irreprensibles, el que nos llena de Su paz y el que nos sostendrá para permanecer fieles a Su Palabra hasta el último día que vivamos en este mundo.
Solamente cuando vivimos de acuerdo a Su Palabra que es la Biblia, podremos asegurarnos de vivir en paz y en la plenitud de Su propósito y no importará que vengan pruebas que fortalecerán nuestra fe, porque sabemos que estaremos guardados bajo la sombra del Altísimo y contando con Su poder en nosotros para enfrentar y salir victoriosos contra dichas adversidades. (Salmo 91)
Mientras vivamos guiados por la Palabra de Dios, disfrutaremos de todas Sus bendiciones y sobre todos viviremos llenos del gozo del Señor que será nuestra fortaleza durante nuestra vida aquí en la tierra (Nehemías 8:10, 1 Tesalonicenses 5:16).
En todas sus cartas Pablo nos exhorta a aprender a vivir en contentamiento y a permitir que la voluntad de Dios forme nuestro carácter y como hemos dicho en este devocional, dejemos que se derrame la paz de Dios que sobre pasa todo entendimiento humano (Filipenses 4:7).
*Que hoy sea tu día de salvación para que Cristo sea tu esperanza de gloria y tu victoria que te permita por Su gracia, cambiar el mundo (Colosenses 1:27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57). Aleluya.

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 (NKJV)

World Changer: *Apostle Paul is exhorting in this letter to all those who converted to Jesus so that they lead a life in holiness through the grace of the Son of God.
To live in holiness implies to repent and confess to Him all of our sins and believe in the Son of God (Romans 10:8-13), ask Him that He may be our King and Lord and puts in us His Holy Spirit so that our lives may walk in the will of our Creator from this day on.
God is the one who sanctifies, is the one that keeps us blameless, the one who fills us with His peace and the one who will sustain us to remain faithful to His Word until the last day we live in this world.
Only when we live according to His Word, which is the Bible, can we ensure that we live in peace and in the fullness of His purpose and it will not matter if trials come that will strengthen our faith, because we know that we will be kept under the shadow of the Most High and counting on His power in us to face and emerge victorious against such adversity. (Psalm 91).
As long as we live guided by the Word of God, we will enjoy all His blessings and above all we will live full of the joy of the Lord that will be our strength during our life here on earth (Nehemiah 8:10, 1 Thessalonians 5:16).
In all his letters Paul exhorts us to learn to live in contentment and to allow the will of God to form our character and as we have said in this devotional, let the peace of God overflow that surpasses all human understanding (Philippians 4:7).

La promesa de Dios para Sus hijos

Porque no nos ha puesto Dios para ira, sino para alcanzar salvación por medio de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, quien murió por nosotros para que ya sea que velemos, o que durmamos, vivamos juntamente con él. Por lo cual, animaos unos a otros, y edificaos unos a otros, así como lo hacéis.
1 Tesalonicenses 5:9-11

Cambiador del Mundo: Pablo habló claramente acerca de los tiempos y enfatizó sobre el día del regreso de Jesús a la tierra, el cual sería sin previo aviso y de ahí nuestra urgencia de vivir preparándonos para ese momento.
Cuando el mundo esté declarando paz y seguridad, entonces vendrá sobre él destrucción repentina como los dolores de una mujer que está encinta y nadie podrá escapar de ese juicio (1Tesalonicenses 5:1-3).
Tenemos que levantar nuestra mirada a los cielos y desear alcanzar la eternidad con Dios por encima de toda riqueza, fama, reconocimiento, comodidades, porque todo lo de esta vida es temporal y como enseña la Biblia durará de setenta a ochenta años para los más fuertes, por lo que nosotros los hijos de Dios, debemos desear terminar bien la carrera aquí en la tierra y ser llevados a los cielos y a la presencia de Dios para vida eterna (2 Timoteo 4:7, Apocalipsis 22:12).
*Por lo tanto que nuestra prioridad aquí en la tierra, sea recibir la gracia de Dios para vivir esta vida agradándole a El y no estar obsesionados con las riquezas temporales, ya que ninguna de ellas nos las podremos llevar el día que nos presentemos delante del tribunal de Cristo (2 Corintios 5:10).
Que nuestro testimonio sea de bendición a muchas personas que aun no conocen a Jesús, para que sus vidas sean ganadas para El (Mateo 28:19-20).
*Que la gracia de Dios permita que conozcas a Jesús si aun no le has rendido tu vida a El, para que también puedas disfrutar de salvación y vida eterna y que Cristo sea siempre tu esperanza de gloria y tu victoria para cambiar el mundo (Romanos 10:8-13, Colosenses 1:27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57). Aleluya.

The promise of God for His children

For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.
1 Thessalonians 5:9-11 (NKJV)

World Changer: Paul spoke clearly about the times and emphasized the day of Jesus’ return to earth, which would be unannounced and hence our urgency to live preparing for that moment.
When the world is declaring peace and security, then sudden destruction will come upon it like the pangs of a pregnant woman and no one will be able to escape that judgment (1Thessalonians 5:1-3).
We have to lift up our eyes to the heavens and to wish to reach the eternity with God above all wealth, fame, recognition, comforts because everything in this life is temporary and as the Bible teaches it will last from seventy to eighty years for the strongest, so we, the children of God, must wish to finish the career well here on earth and be taken up to heaven and into the presence of God for eternal life (2 Timothy 4:7, Revelation 22:12).
*Therefore that our priority here on earth may be to receive God’s grace to live this life pleasing Him and not be obsessed with temporary riches because none of them will not be able to take them with us the day we present ourselves before the judgement seat of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:10).
May our testimony may be of blessing to many people that still don’t know Jesus so that their lives may be won for Him (Matthew 28:19-20).
*May God’s grace allow you to know Jesus if you don’t have surrendered your life yet to Him so that you also may enjoy the salvation and eternal life and that Christ may always be your hope of glory and your victory to change the world ( Romans 10:8-13, Colossians 1:27, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 57). Hallelujah.
