Librándonos de la ofensa

La discreción del hombre le hace lento para la ira,y su gloria es pasar por alto una ofensa. Proverbios 19:11 (LBLA)

Cambiador del Mundo: *Una de las trampas mas peligrosas para el cristiano nacido de nuevo, es la ofensa sin perdonar ni pasarla por alto, porque al final es como un cáncer que va destruyendo la vida del que lo posee y por eso al momento de convertirnos en verdaderos cristianos, tenemos que detenernos por un buen tiempo a revisar todas aquellas situaciones que generaron conflicto y dolor en nosotros, para que en ese mismo instante que nos percatemos de alguna, le pidamos a Jesús Su gracia para perdonar a cualquier persona que nos haya lastimado y también para pedir perdón a cualquier persona que nosotros hubiéramos lastimado.
No debemos darnos el lujo de retrasar nuestro perdón, porque no sabemos en que momento Dios nos llamará a Su presencia delante del tribunal de Cristo, a dar cuentas de todo lo que hicimos aquí en la tierra, haya sido bueno o malo (2 Corintios 5:10).
Jesús relató a Pedro la parábola del rey que vino a hacer cuentas con sus siervos, y uno le debía diez mil talentos que no podía pagar y recibiría un terrible castigo, pero aquel siervo clamó y fue perdonado de toda la deuda.
Pero salió y él mismo fue a cobrarle a un consiervo una cantidad mínima de deuda, cien denarios, esto no era nada comparado con lo que aquel debía y lo echó en la cárcel.
Los otros consiervos fueron al rey y le contaron lo que había sucedido, por lo que este siervo malvado fue apresado por el rey y lo entregó a sus verdugos hasta que pagase todo lo que le debía y así también será nuestro Padre Celestial en los cielos si no perdonamos de todo corazón a nuestros hermanos sus ofensas (Mateo 18:21-35).
Hoy es el día de revisarnos y pedirle a Jesús que nos ayude a perdonar y a pasar por alto las ofensas, para que El sea nuestra esperanza de gloria y victoria que cambia el mundo (Colosenses 1:27, 1 Corintios 15:57). Aleluya.

Freeing us from the offense

A person’s wisdom yields patience; it is to one’s glory to overlook an offense.
Proverbs 19:11 (NIV)

World Changer: *One of the most dangerous traps for the born again Christian is the offense without forgiving or ignoring it, because in the end it is like a cancer that destroys the life of the one who possesses it and that is why when we become true Christians, we have to stop for a long time to review all those situations that generated conflict and pain in us, so that at that very moment that we become aware of any, we ask Jesus for His grace to forgive anyone who has hurt us and also to ask for forgiveness from anyone that we would have hurt.
We should not give ourselves the luxury of delaying our forgiveness, because we do not know when God will call us into His presence before the judgment seat of Christ, to account for everything we have done here on earth, whether good or bad (2 Corinthians 5 :10).
Jesus told Peter the parable of the king who came to settle accounts with his servants, and one owed him ten thousand talents that he could not pay and would receive a terrible punishment, but that servant cried out and was forgiven of all the debt.
But he went out and himself went to collect a minimum amount of debt from a fellow servant, one hundred denarii, this was nothing compared to what he owed and he threw him in jail.
The other fellow servants went to the king and told him what had happened, so this evil servant was arrested by the king and handed him over to his executioners until he paid everything he owed him and so will our Heavenly Father in heaven if we do not wholeheartedly forgive our brothers their trespasses (Matthew 18:21-35).
Today is the day to review ourselves and ask Jesus to help us forgive and overlook offenses, so that He may be our hope of glory and victory that changes the world (Colossians 1:27, 1 Corinthians 15:57). Hallelujah.
