Jesús y el Ayuno

Cuando ayunéis, no seáis austeros, como los hipócritas; porque ellos demudan sus rostros para mostrar a los hombres que ayunan; de cierto os digo que ya tienen su recompensa. Pero tú, cuando ayunes, unge tu cabeza y lava tu rostro.

Cambiador del Mundo: El mandato de ayunar para un cristiano nacido de nuevo, es con el propósito de poder menguar en el espíritu y aun hacer morir el viejo hombre que está contaminado de pecado y actúa de una manera rebelde e impulsiva y por supuesto que todo eso no agrada a Dios. Dios nos manda ayunar de una manera austera dándonos a entender que no quiere que lo proclamemos porque El busca que sea un ayuno íntimo conocido entre Dios Padre y nosotros Sus hijos.
No tenemos que mostrarnos como víctimas porque estemos ayunando, unjamos de aceite nuestra cabeza, lavémonos el rostro y enseñemos al mundo una actitud normal aunque en lo íntimo tengamos aflicción, porque lo importante es que solo Dios vea lo que estamos atravesando y sacrificando y además El promete al que ayuna de esta manera, recompensarlo en público (Mateo 6:18).
*El ayuno debe de provocar en nosotros por la gracia de Dios, reconciliarnos con el Señor y con todos aquellos con los que tengamos diferencias, porque no se trata de estar buscando lo nuestro en el ayuno, ni de oprimir a nuestro prójimo, tampoco ayunar para contiendas ni debates, sino que el verdadero ayuno es que el hombre aflija su alma, incline la cabeza, y se humille delante de Dios, desatando toda ligadura y yugo de iniquidad y soltando las cargas de opresión que tanto aflige nuestro espíritu.
Oremos al Señor durante todo el tiempo que ayunemos y compartamos nuestro pan con el hambriento para que de las tinieblas resplandezca la luz del Señor en nuestra vida (Isaías capítulo 58).
Hoy es tu día de aprender y reconocer la necesidad de tener a tu Salvador que es Cristo (Romanos 10:8-13).
Que la gracia de Dios permita que Cristo sea nuestra esperanza de gloria y victoria para cambiar el mundo (Colosenses 1:27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57). Aleluya.

Jesus and Fast

«Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face.
Matthew 6:16-17 (NKJV)

World Changer: The command to fast for a born again Christian is for the purpose of being able to decrease in spirit and even kill the old man who is contaminated with sin and acts in a rebellious and impulsive way and of course all of this does not please God. God commands us to fast in an austere way, letting us understand that He does not want us to proclaim it because He wants it to be an intimate fast known between God the Father and us His children.
We don’t have to show ourselves as victims because we are fasting, Let us anoint our heads with oil, wash our faces and teach the world a normal attitude even if we are intimately afflicted, because the important thing is that only God sees what we are going through and sacrificing and also He promises those who fast in this way, reward him or her in public (Matthew 6:18).
*Fasting should provoke in us by the grace of God, reconcile us with the Lord and with all those with whom we have differences, because it is not about looking for what is ours in fasting, nor about oppressing our neighbor, nor about fasting to fights or debates, but the true fast is that man afflicts his soul, bows his head, and humbles himself before God, untying all bonds and yoke of iniquity and releasing the burdens of oppression that so afflicts our spirit.
Let us pray to the Lord during all the time we fast and share our bread with the hungry so that the light of the Lord shines out of the darkness in our lives (Isaiah chapter 58).
Today is your day to learn and recognize the need to have your Savior who is Christ (Romans 10:8-13).
May the grace of God allow Christ to be our hope of glory and victory to change the world (Colossians 1:27, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 57). Hallelujah.
