Busquemos la paz y la santidad de Dios

Buscad la paz con todos y la santidad, sin la cual nadie verá al Señor.
Hebreos 12:14 (LBLA)

Cambiador del Mundo: Nuestro mayor propósito al entregarnos a Dios, tiene que ser que tengamos una vida llena de promesas eternas y libres de toda contaminación de pecado, buscando perfeccionar la santidad en el temor de Dios (2 Corintios 7:1).
Ser santos significa estar apartados para Dios renunciando al estilo de vida de este mundo que solo está interesado en el Yo y en cómo obtener el máximo provecho en todo, es decir una vida egoísta y sin tener amor y cuidado por nadie más que por sí mismo (2 Timoteo 3:1-5).
En sus trece cartas el Apóstol Pablo nos da muchas veces su testimonio y nos enseña que cuando se entregó a Cristo, todo lo de este mundo lo dio por basura para enfocarse en su llamado de derramar su vida, expandir el evangelio por muchas naciones (Filipenses 3:7-14).
El propio Jesús nos habló de cómo empezar a caminar en santidad y es precisamente entrando por la puerta estrecha y por el camino angosto que lleva a la vida eterna y que tristemente pocos la hallan y por eso un verdadero cristiano tiene que estar dispuesto si quiere la santidad, a recibir la gracia de Dios para pagar el precio negándose a sí mismo y permitiendo que el Espíritu Santo de Dios, haga toda la obra de santificación (Mateo 7:14).
*Solamente los hijos de Dios que son también discípulos de Cristo, le pueden dar la espalda a este mundo, tomar su cruz y seguir el camino de santidad para que por muy torpes que seamos, Dios no permitirá que nos extraviemos (Lucas 9:23-26, Isaías 35:8 ).
Pidámosle hoy a Dios que ponga un corazón que anhele su presencia y santidad. Hoy es tu día de salvación si aun no conoces a Jesús (Romanos 10:8-13).
Cristo en nosotros nuestra esperanza de gloria y nuestra victoria que por su amor y gracia cambia el mundo (Colosenses 1:27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57). Aleluya.

Let us look for God’s peace and holiness

Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.
Hebrews 12:14 (NIV)

World Changer: Our major purpose when we deliver ourselves to God has to be that we have a life filled with eternal promises and free of all contamination of sin, looking to perfect the holiness in the fear of God (2 Corinthians 7:1).
To be holy means to be set apart for God by renouncing the lifestyle of this world that is only interested in the Self and in how to get the most out of everything, that is, a selfish life and without having love and care for anyone but himself or herself(2 Timothy 3 : 1-5).
In his thirteen letters, Apostle Paul gives us his testimony many times and teaches us that when he delivered himeself to Christ, he gave everything for trash to focus in his call of pouring his life, to expand the Gospel to many nations (Phillipians 3:7-14).
Jesus Himself spoke to us on how to start walking in holiness and it is precisely by entering the narrow door and the narrow path that leads to eternal life and that sadly just a few find it and that is why a true Christian has to be willing, if you want holiness, to receive God’s grace to pay the price by denying yourself and allowing the Holy Spirit of God to do all the work of sanctification (Matthew 7:14).
*Only the children of God who are also disciples of Christ, can turn their back on this world, take up their cross and follow the path of holiness so that no matter how clumsy we are, God will not allow us to stray (Luke 9:23 -26, Isaiah 35: 8).
Let us ask God today that He places on us a heart that longs for His presence and holiness. Today is your day of salvation if you don’t know Jesus yet (Romans 10:8-13).
Christ in us our hope of glory and our victory that by His love and grace changes the world (Colossians 1:27, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 57). Hallelujah.
