No tengamos la vista corta
Pero el que no tiene estas cosas tiene la vista muy corta; es ciego, habiendo olvidado la purificación de sus antiguos pecados.2 Pedro 1:9 (RV1960)
Cambiador del Mundo: El Apóstol Pedro nos hace una exhortación de no tener la vista muy corta porque acabaremos siendo ciegos espirituales y olvidaremos el gran amor con el que Jesús nos rescató por medio de Su sacrificio en la cruz del calvario.
Como cristianos nacidos de nuevo, es urgente que pongamos la mirada hacia la eternidad porque ahí será el destino final de nuestra vida y estaremos con Dios para siempre. Sin embargo en nuestro diario vivir el mundo nos provoca estarnos preocupando más por lo temporal, lo que no durará nada comparado con la eternidad y por eso nos sentimos frustrados con cosas o situaciones que no valen la pena.
La Biblia nos enseña que los días de nuestra vida aquí en la tierra, son setenta años y ochenta en los más robustos (Salmo 90:10) así que podemos entender que este tiempo pasará demasiado rápido por lo que debemos día a día preocuparnos más por que se cumpla en nosotros la voluntad de Dios y que podamos ser transformados conforme a Su voluntad (1 Corintios 15:51) para que podamos escuchar el día que lleguemos a los cielos: bien hecho siervo fiel (Mateo capítulo 25).
*Conforme maduremos en Cristo, empezaremos a dejar de darle importancia a muchas de nuestras metas aquí en la tierra, entre ellas la obsesión de enriquecernos y amontonar dichas riquezas sin propósito eterno, porque que bueno sería que Dios nos bendijera y nosotros lo invirtiéramos en Su reino para ganar muchas almas aquí en la tierra como lo hizo Bernabé cuando apoyó a la reciente iglesia de Cristo que se fundó con los Apóstoles después de que el Señor subió a los cielos (libro de los Hechos).
Hoy es tu día de salvación y de poner tu mirada en los cielos (Romanos 10:8-13).
Cristo en nosotros nuestra esperanza de gloria y nuestra victoria que cambia el mundo (Colosenses 1:27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57). Aleluya.

World Changer: Apostle Peter makes us an exhortation not to have the sight very short because we will end being spiritual blinded and we will forget the great love with which Jesus rescued us through His sacrifice on the cross at Calvary.
As born again Christians, it is urgent that we place our eyes towards eternity because there it will be our final destiny of our lives and we will be with God forever. However, in our daily living the world causes us to be worrying more about the temporal, which will not last anything compared to eternity and that is why we feel frustrated with things or situations that are not worth it.
The Bible teaches us that the days of our lives here on earth are seventy years and eighty in the most robust (Psalm 90:10) so we can understand that this time will pass too quickly so we must day by day worry more about the fulfillment of God’s will in us and that we can be transformed according to His will ( 1 Corinthians 15:51) so that we can hear the day we reach heaven: well done faithful servant (Matthew chapter 25).
*As we mature in Christ, we will begin to stop giving importance to many of our goals here on earth, including the obsession to enrich ourselves and accumulate such riches without eternal purpose because how good it would be if God bless us and we invest it in His kingdom to win many souls here on earth as Barnabas did when he supported the recent church of Christ that was founded with the Apostles after the Lord ascended into heaven (Book of Acts).
Today is your day of salvation and of looking to heaven (Romans 10: 8-13).
Christ in us our hope of glory and our world-changing victory (Colossians 1:27, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 57). Hallelujah.
