Afirmando nuestra fe en Cristo

Estad alerta, permaneced firmes en la fe, portaos varonilmente, sed fuertes.
1 Corintios 16:13 (LBLA)

Cambiador del Mundo: Solo la gracia de Dios en nosotros los cristianos nacidos de nuevo, nos permitirá velar y estar firmes en nuestro llamado en Cristo. Entendamos con profundidad lo que significa estar velando porque es estar alerta en todo tiempo, no descuidando ni un segundo la tarea de cuidar nuestra salvación con temor y temblor (Filipenses 2:12).
Estar firmes en la fe tiene que ser nuestro mayor desafío considerando que vivimos en un mundo que le ha dado totalmente la espalda a Dios, y está llamándole a lo bueno malo y a lo malo bueno, tal como profetizó Isaías hace muchos años (Isaías 5:20-21).
También el Apóstol Pablo nos exhorta a los hombres en varias de sus cartas a comportarnos varonilmente y a guardar y cuidar nuestra familia en la fe y por supuesto nuestra familia de sangre. Entendamos hoy que esta demanda de Pablo es por causa de que muchos abandonan la fe, empezando siempre con una legítima duda y después se llenan de temores y les cuesta trabajo entender que Jesús siempre está con los brazos extendidos en todo momento para llevar nuestras cargas y ser nuestro descanso para poder permanecer firmes en la fe (Mateo 11:28-29).
*Finalmente Pablo nos pide esforzarnos y no rendirnos aun en medio de las más violentas pruebas porque no estamos solos ya que por la gracia de Dios cuando nos entregamos a Jesús dejamos de vivir en nuestra propia fuerza, Cristo viene a vivir a nuestro corazón, llenándonos de Su Espíritu Santo y fortaleciéndonos para que en El tengamos la victoria y no por fuerza propia (Gálatas 2:20).
Hoy es el día de que velemos, estemos firmes y los hombres podamos ser ejemplo y testimonio en todas las familias de la tierra. Si aun no lo has hecho, pídele a Jesús que sea tu Señor y Salvador (Romanos 10:8-13).
Cristo en nosotros nuestra esperanza de gloria y nuestra victoria que cambia el mundo (Colosenses 1:27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57). Aleluya.

Affirming our faith in Christ

Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.
1 Corinthians 16:13 (NIV)

World Changer: Only God’s grace in us the born again Christians will allow us to watch and stand firm in our calling in Christ. Let us understand in depth what it means to be watching because it is to be alert at all times, not neglecting for a second, the task of caring for our salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12).
To be firm in the faith has to be our major challenge considering that we live in a world that has turned its back to God and is calling the good bad and the bad good, just as Isaiah prophesied many years ago (Isaiah 5: 20-21).
Also, Apostle Paul exhorts us men in many of his letters to behave manly and to guard and care for our family in faith and of course our family of blood. Let us understand today that this demand of Paul is because many abandon the faith, always beginning with a legitimate doubt and then filled with fears and it is difficult for them to understand that Jesus is always with outstretched arms at all times to carry our burdens and to be our rest so that we can remain firm in the faith (Matthew 11: 28-29).
*Finally, Paul asks us to to strive and not give up even in the midst of the most violent trials because we are not alone since by the grace of God when we surrender to Jesus we stop living in our own strength, Christ comes to live in our hearts, filling us with His Holy Spirit and strengthening ourselves so that in Him we have the victory and not by our own strength (Galatians 2:20).
Today is the day to watch, be firmed and that men can be example and testimony in all the families of the earth. If you haven’t done it yet, ask Jesus to be your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:8-13).
Christ in us our hope of glory and our victory that changes the world (Colossians 1:27, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 57). Hallelujah.
