Tus batallas como cristiano, prepararán tu eternidad.

Porque yo ya estoy para ser sacrificado, y el tiempo de mi partida está cercano. He peleado la buena batalla, he acabado la carrera, he guardado la fe. Por lo demás, me está guardada la corona de justicia, la cual me dará el Señor, juez justo, en aquel día; y no sólo a mí, sino también a todos los que aman su venida.

Cambiador del Mundo: Indudablemente el Apóstol Pablo tenía muy claro el concepto de eternidad y por eso en muchas de sus cartas habla de que todo lo de este mundo lo había dado por basura, y se había enfocado a buscar la gracia de Dios para vivir una vida de santidad y totalmente entregada a su Creador (1 Corintios 15:10). En los versículos de hoy el Apóstol le está explicando a Timoteo que es su discípulo, de que él había corrido la carrera cristiana y no le había importado todos los contratiempos que tuvo entre ellos azotes, naufragios y persecuciones, porque él había entendido que todo eso sería temporal, pero él estaba buscando estar en el propósito de Dios cuando llegara la eternidad. Pablo menciona de la corona de justicia que recibiría de manos del Señor Jesús en aquel día y no solo la daría a él, sino también a todos los que amamos Su Nombre. *Todos nosotros que somos cristianos nacidos de nuevo, pidámosle hoy a Jesús que nos de esta misma revelación para que lo temporal de la vida no nos impida llegar a la eternidad y recibir lo que El preparó para nosotros. No cambiemos la eternidad por recompensas temporales. Que la gracia de Dios te permita recibir a Jesús en tu corazón como tu Señor y Salvador si aún no lo has invitado. Será la mejor decisión de tu vida. Pidámosle a Dios que Él nos mantenga firmes en nuestra fe y que Cristo sea nuestra esperanza de gloria y nuestra victoria que cambia el mundo (Colosenses 1:27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57). Your battles as Christian will prepare your eternity

For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.
2 Timothy 4:6-8 (NKJV)

World Changer: Undoubtedly, the Apostle Paul was very clear about the concept of eternity and that is why in many of his letters he speaks that everything in this world had been taken for garbage, and had focused on seeking God’s grace to live a life of holiness and totally surrendered to its Creator (1 Corinthians 15:10).
In today’s verses Apostle Paul is explaining Timothy who is his disciple, that he had run the Christian race and had not cared about all the setbacks that he had including scourges, shipwrecks and persecutions, because he had understood that all of this would be temporary but he was seeking to be in God’s purpose when eternity came.
Paul mentions the crown of righteousness that he would receive from the Lord Jesus on that day and He would not only give it to him, but also to all of us who love His Name.
*All of us that we are born again Christians, let us ask Jesus today to give us this same revelation so that the temporality of life does not prevent us from reaching eternity and receiving what He has prepared for us. Let’s not trade eternity for temporary rewards.
May God’s grace allows you to receive Jesus in your heart as your Lord and Saviour if you haven’t invited Him yet. It will be the best decision of your life.
Let us ask God that He may keep us firm in our faith and that Christ may be our hope of glory and our victory that changes the world (Colossians 1:27, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 57). Hallelujah.
