Solo la verdad nos hará libres.

Dijo entonces Jesús a los judíos que habían creído en él: Si vosotros permaneciereis en mi palabra, seréis verdaderamente mis discípulos; y conoceréis la verdad, y la verdad os hará libres. Juan 8:31-32 (RV1960)

Cambiador del Mundo: Solo por la gracia de Dios podemos ser librados del pecado y de la muerte que ahora más que nunca están gobernando la tierra. Por eso el Señor nos exhorta a que permanezcamos unidos a Él y sostenidos por Su Palabra que son las Sagradas Escrituras, para que seamos verdaderos discípulos suyos y de esa manera podamos conocer la verdad y esa verdad nos haga libres y evite que seamos engañados por la maldad de este mundo y sus falsas promesas. Si conocemos íntimamente a Jesús y nos deleitamos en Sus palabras, creyendo en Su mensaje de salvación, entonces recibiremos la gracia que abrirá nuestros ojos espirituales y preparará nuestro corazón para librarnos de las mentiras constantes de este mundo. Si nosotros hemos creído en Jesús, Su gracia nos permite tener hambre y sed de Su Palabra para poder crecer en nuestra relación con El, aprendiendo lo que Él dijo: Yo soy la luz del mundo; el que me sigue, no caminará en tinieblas, sino que tendrá la luz de la vida (Juan 8:12). *La labor de la iglesia cristiana es precisamente esta: llevar a las ovejas a pastos verdes que es la Palabra verdadera de Dios, para que puedan fortalecer su fe y entender que el amor de Dios es eterno y sostendrá a cada uno de los que están tomando al Señor en serio. Hoy es el día de levantar la mirada a los cielos y clamar a Jesús que quite de nosotros toda ceguera y pereza espiritual y que nos de hambre y sed de la Palabra para que también nosotros caminemos en luz y la vida de Cristo y su olor fragante se manifieste a través de nuestro testimonio (Romanos 10:8-13). Cristo en nosotros nuestra esperanza de gloria y nuestra victoria que cambia el mundo (Colosenses 1:27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57). Aleluya. *Promesa.

Only the truth will set us free

Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, «If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.»
John 8:31-32 (NKJV)

World Changer: Only by God’s grace we can be freed from sin and death that now more than ever is ruling the earth. That is why the Lord exhorts us to stay united to Him and held by His Word which are the Holy Scriptures, so that we can be His true disciples and that way we can know the truth and that truth sets us free and prevents us from being deceived by the evil of this world and its false promises.
If we intimately know Jesus and delight ourselves in His words, believing in His message of salvation then we will receive the grace that will open our spiritual eyes and will prepare our hearts to free us from the constant lies of this world.
If we have believed in Jesus, His grace allows us to be hungry and thirsty of His Word to be able to grow in our relationship with Him, learning what He said: I am the light of this world; he who follows me will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life (John 8:12).
*The work of a Christian Church is precisely this: lead the sheep to green pastures which is the true Word of God, so that they can strengthen their faith and understand that God’s love is eternal and will sustain each of those who are taking the Lord seriously.
Today is the day to look up to the heavens and cry out to Jesus to remove from us all blindness and spiritual laziness and to hunger and thirst for the Word so that we too may walk in the light and life of Christ and His fragrant smell may be manifested through our testimony (Romans 10: 8-13).
Christ in us our hope of glory and our world-changing victory (Colossians 1:27, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 57). Hallelujah.
