Tengamos temor de Dios.

El temor del Señor es aborrecer el mal. El orgullo, la arrogancia, el mal camino y la boca perversa, yo aborrezco.
Proverbios 8:13 (LBLA)

Cambiador del Mundo: El temor de Dios no se refiere a tenerle miedo, de ninguna manera se trata de eso, sino que es dar honra al Todopoderoso Dios de los cielos que nos extendió una salvación tan grande por medio de Su Hijo Jesucristo. El aborrecer el mal y que podamos repudiar el pecado por la gracia de Dios que nos fue dada, tiene que ser la meta inicial y principal de un cristiano nacido de nuevo, porque en Cristo hemos recibido Su santidad y por Su gracia también seremos guardados del pecado a lo largo de todo nuestro cristianismo para mantenernos limpios delante de los ojos de Dios nuestro Padre (Hebreos 12:14-17). *La fe en Dios y en nuestro Señor Jesucristo nos han llenado de la vida resucitada de Cristo y de toda esperanza que antes no teníamos por no conocer a Dios ni las escrituras (Romanos capítulo 6). Pero la Biblia dice que el principio de la sabiduría es precisamente el temor de Dios que estará en nuestro corazón por siempre. Ya no caminaremos como los insensatos que desprecian esa sabiduría y dicha enseñanza (Proverbios 1:7). El máximo testimonio que tenemos los cristianos, es precisamente el de Jesús que en los días de su vida en la tierra, ofreció ruegos y súplicas con gran clamor y lágrimas a Dios Su Padre, pues sabía que Él era el único que le podía librar de la muerte. Y Él fue oído a causa de Su temor reverente. Sin embargo padeció para aprender obediencia y habiendo sido perfeccionado El vino a ser autor de eterna salvación para todos los que le obedecen (Hebreos 5:7-9). Hoy es el día de pedirle a Jesús que derrame Su gracia y ponga Su temor reverente en nosotros (Romanos 10:8-13). Cristo en nosotros nuestra esperanza de gloria y nuestra victoria que cambia el mundo (Colosenses 1:27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57). Aleluya. *Promesa.

Let us have fear of God

The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate.

World Changer: The fear of God it is not about to be afraid of Him, in no way it is about that, but it is to give honor to the Almighty God of heaven who extended such a great salvation to us through His Son Jesus Christ.
To hate evil and that we can repudiate sin by the grace of God that was given to us, has to be the initial and main goal of a born-again Christian, because in Christ we have received His holiness and by His grace we will also be kept from sin throughout our entire Christianity to keep us clean in the sight of God our Father (Hebrews 12: 14-17).
*Faith in God and in our Lord Jesuschrist has filled us with the resurrected life of Christ and with all hope that we didn’t have before because of not knowing God nor the Scriptures (Romans chapter 6). But the Bible says that the beginning of wisdom is precisely the fear of God that will be in our hearts forever. We will no longer walk like the foolish who despise such wisdom and such teaching (Proverb 1: 7).
The greatest testimony that Christians have is precisely that of Jesus who in the days of his life on earth, offered prayers and supplications with great cry and tears to God His Father, because he knew that He was the only one who could free him from death. And He was heard because of His reverent fear. However, He suffered to learn obedience and having been perfected He became the author of eternal salvation for all who obey Him (Hebrews 5: 7-9).
Today is the day to ask Jesus to pour out His grace and put His reverent fear on us (Romans 10: 8-13).
Christ in us our hope of glory and our world-changing victory (Colossians 1:27, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 57). Hallelujah.
