Viviendo hoy como si fuera nuestro último día.

Vamos ahora! los que decís: Hoy y mañana iremos a tal ciudad, y estaremos allá un año, y traficaremos, y ganaremos; cuando no sabéis lo que será mañana. Porque ¿qué es vuestra vida? Ciertamente es neblina que se aparece por un poco de tiempo, y luego se desvanece. En lugar de lo cual deberíais decir: Si el Señor quiere, viviremos y haremos esto o aquello.

Cambiador del Mundo: Cuando comenzaba a leer la Biblia, estos versículos hoy me impresionó grandemente, que en la Palabra de Dios se nos advirtiera a no contar con el día de mañana o el próximo año para hacer planes de proyectos y ganancias porque además nos recalca esta escritura que nuestra vida es como una neblina que hoy está y mañana se desvanece. Aunque de manera religiosa algunas personas expresan al hacer algo diciendo: “si Dios quiere”, realmente no podemos entender esto sino hasta el momento que tenemos un encuentro personal con Jesús, y aprendemos que nuestros días aquí en la tierra Él los ha enumerado, como lo dijo el Rey David en el libro de los Salmos (90:12, 139:16, 39:4-6). Hoy debemos pedirle al Señor que nos enseñe a vivir cada día con Su amor, misericordia, gracia y pasión para que si hoy partimos y nos presentamos ante el Tribunal de Cristo, demos buenas cuentas de lo que hicimos durante nuestra vida aquí en la tierra, porque lo importante es dónde y cómo pasaremos la eternidad con El (2 Corintios 5:10, Romanos 14:10-12). *Imaginémonos hoy que solo tenemos las horas de este día hacer la perfecta y agradable voluntad de Dios ¿Qué es lo que escogerías hacer? Recordemos que después de salir de esta tierra solo queda presentarnos ante el Tribunal de Cristo, porque ese es el siguiente paso para los cristianos que hemos nacido de nuevo. Hoy es el día de agradar a Dios (Romanos 10:8-13). Cristo en nosotros la esperanza de gloria y nuestra victoria que cambia el mundo (Colosenses 1:27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57). Aleluya. *Promesa.

Living today like it’s our last day

Come now, you who say, «Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit»; 14 whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. 15 Instead you ought to say, «If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.»
James 4:13-15 (NKJV)

World Changer: When I started to read the Bible, today’s verses made a great impression on me, that in the Word of God we are warned not to count on tomorrow or next year to make plans for projects and profits because this writing also emphasizes to us that our life is like a mist that today is and tomorrow will vanish.
Although in a religious way some people express when doing something saying: «God willing», we really cannot understand this until the moment that we have a personal encounter with Jesus and we learn that our days here on earth He has listed them, as it was said by King David in the book of Psalms (90:12, 139: 16, 39: 4-6).
Today we must ask the Lord that He may teach us to live each day with His love, mercy, grace and passion so if we die and present ourselves before the Court of Christ, we may give good accounts of what we did during our lives here on earth because the importance is where and how will we spend eternity with Him (2 Corinthians 5:10, Romans 14: 10-12).
*Let’s imagine today that we only have the hours of this day to do the perfect and pleasing will of God. What would you choose to do? Let us remember that after leaving this earth it only remains to appear before the Court of Christ, because that is the next step for Christians who have been born again. Today is the day to please God (Romans 10: 8-13).
Christ in us the hope of glory and our world-changing victory (Colossians 1:27, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 57). Hallelujah.
