Lo que Dios nos requiere.
Y ahora, Israel, ¿qué requiere de ti el Señor tu Dios, sino que temas al Señor tu Dios, que andes en todos sus caminos, que le ames y que sirvas al Señor tu Dios con todo tu corazón y con toda tu alma.

Cambiador del Mundo: Dios le habló muy claro a Moisés y a Israel enseñándoles a que tuvieran temor reverente al Señor, que caminaran en todos Sus caminos, que lo amaran y sirvieran con todo su corazón y con toda su alma, guardando Sus mandamientos y todos los estatutos que el Señor había puesto delante de ellos, pues solamente así tendrían prosperidad (Deuteronomio 10:13). A lo largo de todo el Antiguo Testamento, podemos leer que Israel no obedeció y se pasó cuarenta años dando vueltas en el desierto, Moisés no entró a la tierra prometida tampoco, y fue finalmente Josué el encargado de dirigir al pueblo y lograrlo. También muchos de nosotros nos hemos pasado dando vueltas por el desierto y no es hasta el momento que encontramos a Cristo, le confesamos todos nuestros pecados, y lo invitamos a nuestro corazón como Rey y Señor (Romanos 10:8-13), que finalmente empezamos una vida con propósito y salimos de nuestro desierto espiritual que por generaciones en muchos casos, nunca habíamos disfrutado de una relación personal con Jesús. *Ser hijos de Dios también nos permite disfrutar de todas las promesas de una tierra prometida que como dijimos antes quizá no va a ser física, pero si va a ser espiritual, porque Cristo cambiará totalmente, nuestra manera tan triste de vivir antes de conocerle, por una nueva vida llena de esperanza donde lo único que nos requiere Dios es amarlo, honrarlo y ponerlo siempre en el primer lugar de nuestra vida (Mateo 6:33). Que Cristo sea nuestra esperanza de gloria y nuestra victoria que por Su amor y gracia nos permite cambiar el mundo (Colosenses 1:27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57). Aleluya. *Promesa.

What God requires of us.
And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God ask of you but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in obedience to him, to love him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
Deuteronomy 10:12 (NIV)
World Changer: God spoke very clearly to Moses and Israel, teaching them to have reverent fear of the Lord, that they walk in all His ways, that they love and serve Him with all their heart and with all their soul, keeping His commandments and all the statutes that the Lord had set before them, for only in this way would they have prosperity (Deuteronomy 10:13).
Throughout the entire Old Testament, we can read that Israel did not obey and spent forty years wandering in the desert, Moses did not enter the promised land either, and it was finally Joshua who was in charge of leading the people and achieving it.
Also, many of us have wandered through the desert and it is not until the moment that we meet Christ, confess all our sins, and invite Him into our hearts as King and Lord (Romans 10: 8-13), that we finally begin a life with purpose and we came out of our spiritual wilderness that for generations in many cases, we had never enjoyed a personal relationship with Jesus.
*To be God’s children also allows us to enjoy of all the promises of a promised land that as we said before, maybe it will not be physical but spiritual because Christ will totally change our sad way of living before meeting Him for a new life full of hope where the only thing God requires of us is to love Him, honor Him and always put Him in the first place of our life (Matthew 6:33).
May Christ be our hope of glory and our victory who by His love and grace allows us to change the world (Colossians 1:27, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 57). Hallelujah.
