Rompiendo las ataduras del pecado y del pasado.

De manera que nosotros de aquí en adelante a nadie conocemos según la carne; y aun si a Cristo conocimos según la carne, ya no lo conocemos así. De modo que, si alguno está en Cristo, nueva criatura es; las cosas viejas pasaron; he aquí todas son hechas nuevas.

Cambiador del Mundo: Leyendo estos versículos del día de hoy, podemos entender que no podemos seguir viviendo en la carne es decir en nuestra propia fuerza, porque aun Jesús que vivió en un cuerpo mortal, ahora ya Él está revestido del cuerpo de gloria. Cuánto más los hijos de Dios que estamos caminando por nuestra fe en Dios Padre y en nuestro Señor Jesucristo, también hemos dejado el pasado y nuestra vida carnal y pecadora, no por nuestra propia fuerza, sino por la gracia y la vida de Jesús y el Espíritu Santo que ahora viven en nosotros los siervos de Dios. *Lo maravilloso de ser un verdadero cristiano, es que somos nuevas criaturas y Dios nos ha adoptado como hijos en Su familia. Todo proviene de Su gracia empezando por nuestra reconciliación con Él a través de la muerte y resurrección de Jesús. Los que ahora vivimos en Cristo Jesús, ya no vivimos para nosotros mismos sino para aquel que murió y resucitó por nosotros. Es necesario también que aprendamos a mirar hacia los cielos y hacia delante porque un día compareceremos ante el tribunal de Cristo para dar cuenta de lo que hicimos cuando estábamos en la tierra, sea bueno o sea malo (2 Corintios capítulo 5). Nuestra vida aquí en la tierra es temporal y por eso tiene que ser nuestra decisión enfocarnos a lo que haremos en la eternidad con Dios, porque ahí nos daremos cuenta que valió la pena negarnos a nosotros mismos aquí en la tierra, tomar nuestra cruz y seguir a Jesús (Lucas 9:23-26, Romanos 10:8-13). Cristo en nosotros nuestra esperanza de gloria y nuestra victoria que cambia el mundo (Colosenses 1:27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57). Aleluya. *Promesa.

Breaking the bonds of sin and the past.

Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
2 Corinthians 5:16-17 (NKJV)

World Changer: Reading today’s verses we can understand that we can’t keep living in the flesh that is, in our own strength, because even Jesus who lived in a mortal body, now He is already clothed with the body of glory. How much more the children of God who are walking by our faith in God the Father and in our Lord Jesus Christ, we have also left the past and our carnal and sinful life, not by our own strength, but by the grace and life of Jesus and the Holy Spirit who now lives in us, the servants of God.
*The wonderful thing about being a true Christian is that we are new creatures and God has adopted us as children in His family. It all comes from His grace starting by our reconciliation with Him through Jesus’s death and resurrection.
Those of us who now live in Christ Jesus no longer live for ourselves but for the One who died and rose again for us.
We also need to learn to look heavenward and forward because one day we will appear before the judgment seat of Christ to give an account of what we did when we were on earth, good or bad (2 Corinthians chapter 5).
Our lives here on earth is temporary and that is why it has to be our decision to focus on what will we do in eternity with God because there we will realize that it was worth it to deny ourselves here on earth, take our cross and follow Jesus (Luke 9:23-26, Romans 10:8-13).
Christ in us our hope of glory and our victory that changes the world (Colossians 1:27, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 57). Hallelujah.
