El gozo del Señor es nuestra fortaleza

Luego Nehemías añadió: «Ya pueden irse. Coman bien, tomen bebidas dulces y compartan su comida con quienes no tengan nada, porque este día ha sido consagrado a nuestro Señor. No estén tristes, pues el gozo del Señores nuestra fortaleza».

Cambiador del Mundo: Nehemías es el que toma la carga para reconstruir los muros de Jerusalén que habían sido quemados por el Rey Nabucodonosor cuando Babilonia destruyó la ciudad. Y ahora este hombre que era un copero del Rey Altarjerjes pidió la oportunidad de regresar a su ciudad Jerusalén para darle nuevamente dignidad al pueblo de Dios. El ayuno y la oración permitieron a Nehemías que se reafirmaran sus cualidades de liderazgo y de una palabra poderosa que cautivó al Rey al cual servía y dio como fruto que se le proveyera todo lo que necesitaba para levantar los muros caídos. Cuando Nehemías habla de que el gozo del Señor era su fortaleza, él está haciendo referencia a todas las dificultades que tuvo que sobrepasar apoyado exclusivamente de su fe en Dios y no teniendo confianza en ningún hombre, pues aun la gente que le rodeaba constantemente venían a oprimirlo y desanimarlo como seguramente pasa en la gran mayoría de nosotros los cristianos nacidos de nuevo. Y me refiero a que muchos proyectos que Dios nos manda a hacer, los dejamos inconclusos porque nos dejamos turbar por aquellos que no conocen a Jesús. *Pero hoy es el día de que dobles tus rodillas y le pidas a Jesús que fortalezca tus manos y que ponga en ti un espíritu nuevo y Su Espíritu Santo para que puedas no solamente creer en Dios sino para hacer la obra para la que fuiste llamado (Ezequiel 36:26-27). Hoy es tu día de entregarte plenamente a Jesús y rendirle tu corazón (Romanos 10:8-13). Leer libro de Nehemías. The joy of the Lord os our strength.

Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”

World Changer: Nehemiah is the one who takes charge to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem that had been burned by King Nebuchadnezzar when Babylon destroyed the city. And now this man who was a cupbearer of King Altarxerxes asked for the opportunity to return to his city Jerusalem to give dignity to the people of God again.
The fast and prayer allowed Nehemiah to reaffirm his leadership qualities and a powerful word that captivated the King he served and bore the fruit of providing him with everything he needed to raise the fallen walls.
When Nehemiah speaks that the joy of the Lord was his strength, he was refering to all the difficulties that had to go through leaning exclusively in his faith in God and not trusting in any man because even the people that were around him they constantly came to oppress and discourage him as surely happens in the vast majority of us born-again Christians. And I mean that many projects that God sends us to do, we leave them unfinished because we allow ourselves to be disturbed by those who do not know Jesus.
*But today is the day that you bend your knees and ask Jesus to strengthen your hands and put in you a new spirit and His Holy Spirit so that you can not only believe in God but also to do the work for which you were called (Ezekiel 36: 26-27).
Today is your day to give yourself fully to Jesus and surrender your heart to Him (Romans 10: 8-13).
