Ayuno y oración conforme al corazón de Dios
¿No es este el ayuno que yo escogí: desatar las ligaduras de impiedad, soltar las coyundas del yugo, dejar ir libres a los oprimidos, y romper todo yugo?

Cambiador del Mundo: El ayuno lo ha practicado desde el principio el pueblo de Israel como lo podemos leer en el libro de Levíticos 16:29-31 y lo hacían para diversas ceremonias como en Yom kippur. El Rey David también nos exhorta muchas veces a quebrantar nuestra alma con ayuno. Sin embargo el pueblo de Israel había entrado en una etapa de rebelión, viviendo impíamente y por supuesto que aunque ayunaban, Dios no les contestaba a causa de su rebelión. Ellos querían que Dios hiciera justicia y querían acercarse a Él y hasta le reclamaban que estaban ayunando y humillando sus almas, pero Dios no se daba por entendido, porque en el día del ayuno ellos buscaban su propio beneficio y deseos, y ayunaban también para debates y contiendas, pero Dios no escuchaba porque era ayuno religioso. El verdadero ayuno que Dios escogió además del ayuno físico que es dejar de comer por una causa espiritual, es desatar ligaduras de impiedad, cargas de opresión, compartir el pan con el hambriento, hospedar extranjero, vestir al desnudo y no escondernos de la necesidad de un hermano, entonces nacerá la luz del Señor en el corazón del que verdaderamente busca agradar a Dios y quebrantar su alma para servirle (Isaías 58:7-8 ). La gloria de Dios se derramó cuando empezaron a nombrar a las personas que como Pablo y Bernabé se agregarían al grupo de Apóstoles para abrir iglesias, ellos oraban, ayunaban y esperaban a escuchar la voz de Dios, obedeciendo al Espíritu Santo (Hechos 13:1-4, 14:14, 21-23). *El ayuno y la oración marcarán la diferencia tanto en un cristiano como en el Cuerpo de Cristo que es la Iglesia si somos constantes y vivimos de rodillas y humillados bajo la poderosa mano de Dios (Joel capítulo 2, 2 Crónicas 7:14). Hoy es tu día para venir a Jesús y que Él sea tu esperanza de gloria para cambiar el mundo (Colosenses 1:27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57). Aleluya. *Promesa.

Fasting and prayer according to God’s Heart
«Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke?

World Changer: Fasting has been practiced from the beginning by the people of Israel as we can read in the book of Leviticus 16: 29-31 and they did it for various ceremonies such as Yom Kippur.
King David also exhorts us many times to break our soul with fasting.
However, the people of Israel had entered a stage of rebellion, living wickedly and of course that although they fasted, God did not answer them because of their rebellion. They wanted God to do justice and they wanted to approach Him and even claimed that they were fasting and humiliating their souls, but God did not take for granted, because on the day of the fast they sought their own benefit and desires, and also fasted for debates and strife, but God did not listen because it was religious fasting.
The true fasting that God chose besides physical fasting is to stop eating by a spiritual cause is to unleashing bonds of impiety, burdens of oppression, sharing bread with the hungry, hosting a stranger, clotting the naked and not hiding from the need of a brother, then the light of the Lord will be born in the heart of those who truly seek to please God and break his soul to serve Him (Isaiah 58: 7-8).
The glory of God poured when they started to name people that as Paul and Barnabas, would be added to the group of Apostles to open churches, they prayed, fasted and waited to hear the voice of God, obeying the Holy Spirit (Acts 13: 1-4, 14:14, 21-23).
*Fasting and prayer will make a difference both in a Christian and in the Body of Christ that is the Church if we are constant and live on our knees and humbled under the mighty hand of God (Joel chapter 2, 2 Chronicles 7:14).
Today is your day to come to Jesus and may He be your hope of glory to change the world (Colossians 1:27, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 57). Hallelujah.
