El precio de ser discípulo de Cristo.

¿Son ministros de Cristo? (Como si estuviera loco hablo.) Yo más; en trabajos más abundante; en azotes sin número; en cárceles más; en peligros de muerte muchas veces. De los judíos cinco veces he recibido cuarenta azotes menos uno. Tres veces he sido azotado con varas; una vez apedreado; tres veces he padecido naufragio; una noche y un día he estado como náufrago en alta mar.
2 Corintios 11:23-25 (RVR1960)

Cambiador del Mundo: Cuando hablamos de un hombre de Dios que pagó el precio para servir a Jesús, tenemos que poner entre los primeros lugares al Apóstol Pablo, que de ser un fariseo instruido por Gamaliel, pasó a ser uno de los hombres mas buscados para matar por los religiosos y fariseos. Pablo un hombre celoso de la Ley y perseguidor de los cristianos se convirtió en un siervo de Jesús y no le importó dejarlo todo y exponer su vida con tal de servir al Evangelio.
Nada lo intimidó y al contrario siempre estuvo expuesto a ser perseguido por tantos lugares que recorrió y que dio como fruto las trece cartas del nuevo testamento que escribió, mas la narración que hizo a Lucas para que éste escribiera el libro de los Hechos. Pablo murió decapitado por Nerón el César en Roma.
*Nosotros quizá no tengamos este proceso tan difícil pero nuestro llamado pasará por tribulaciones, persecuciones y burlas y al igual que el Apóstol solo nuestra fe nos puede sostener y permitirnos terminar la carrera en esta tierra y pagar el precio de ser llamados verdaderos cristianos nacidos de nuevo. La fe de Cristo en nosotros actuará en un corazón humilde, que recibe la gracia de Dios y está dispuesto a dar su vida por el Evangelio (Gálatas 2:20-21).
Hoy es el día de abrir tu corazón y pedirle a Jesús que te llene de Su fe y favor (Romanos 10:8-13).
Cristo en nosotros la esperanza de gloria y nuestra victoria que por Su gracia cambia el mundo (Colosenses 1:27, 1Corintios 15:10, 57). Aleluya.

The price of being disciple of Christ

Are they servants of Christ? (I am out of my mind to talk like this.) I am more. I have worked much harder, been in prison more frequently, been flogged more severely, and been exposed to death again and again. Five times I received from the Jews the forty lashes minus one. Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was pelted with stones, three times I was shipwrecked, I spent a night and a day in the open sea.

World Changer: When we talk about a man of God that paid the price to serve Jesus, we have to place Apostle Paul in the first places, that from being a Pharisee instructed by Gamaliel, he became one of the men most wanted to kill by the religious and Pharisees. Paul, a man jealous of the Law and a persecutor of Christians, became a servant of Jesus and did not mind leaving everything and exposing his life in order to serve the Gospel.
Nothing intimidated him, on the contrary, he always was exposed to being persecuted through so many places that he traveled and that resulted in the thirteen letters of the new testament that he wrote, plus the narration that he made to Luke so that he could write the book of Acts. Paul was beheaded by Nero the Caesar in Rome.
*Maybe we don´t have this process so hard but our call will go through tribulations, persecutions and mockery and like the Apostle only our faith can sustain us and allow us to finish the race on this earth and pay the price of being called true born again Christians. The faith of Christ in us will act in a humble heart that receives God’s grace and is willing to give his life for the Gospel (Galatians 2: 20-21).
Today is the day to open your heart and ask Jesus to fill you of His faith and favor (Romans 10:8-13).
Christ in us the hope of glory and our victory that by His grace changes the world (Colossians 1:27, 1 Corinthians 15:10,57). Hallelujah.
