La urgencia de hablar lo bueno.

Más yo os digo que de toda palabra ociosa que hablen los hombres, de ella darán cuenta en el día del juicio.

Cambiador del Mundo: Tenemos que darnos cuenta de la gran necesidad de hablar lo bueno que toda persona debe tener. Son muchos los versículos en la Biblia que nos exhortan a que hablemos con cuidado y sin pronunciar palabras ociosas que puedan traer destrucción y muerte a las personas que nos escuchan. En el libro de Proverbios hay una gran cantidad de consejos de cómo hablar lo que Dios quiere que hablemos. Por ejemplo se nos exhorta a hablar la palabra a Su tiempo porque dará buen fruto y esperanza a quien escucha (Proverbios 15:23). También se nos enseña que la blanda respuesta quita la ira y por supuesto nosotros sabemos que solamente cuando Cristo reina en nuestro corazón, podemos hablar en amor y sin exaltarnos (Proverbios 15:1). Nuestra paciencia es parte y fundamento de que no nos enojemos y pronunciemos palabras suaves que puedan derribar cualquier tipo de resistencia en la persona que las escucha (Proverbios 25:15). Dice también la Biblia que si nosotros actuamos conforme al corazón de Dios y podemos caminar con sobriedad y en justicia, de nuestra boca fluirán buenas palabras que propiciarán una unidad duradera con quienes las escuchan (2 Crónicas 10:7). La boca de una persona que vive conforme a la Palabra de Dios, será manantial de vida y de ella siempre fluirán promesas de esperanza, de amor, de justicia, de gracia y de misericordia, porque esa es la voluntad de Dios con aquellos que se han declarado Sus hijos (Proverbios 10:11). La boca de los sabios pronuncia palabras que traen sanidad y son árbol de vida para aquel que está quebrantado y necesitado y es por eso que un cristiano nacido de nuevo debe de llenar su corazón con la Palabra de Dios para poder ser consuelo de todo aquel que lo necesite (Proverbios 12:18, 15:4). *Aprendamos hoy a llenarnos de la Palabra de vida eterna (Romanos 10:8-13). Cristo en nosotros la esperanza de gloria (Colosenses 1:27).

But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken.

World Changer: We have to realize the great need to speak the good that all people must have. There are many verses in the Bible that exhorts us to speak with care and withour pronouncing idle words that can bring destruction and death to the people who listen to us.
In the book of Proverbs there is a lot of advice on how to speak what God wants us to speak. For example, we are exhorted to speak the word in its time because it will bring good fruit and hope to those who listen (Proverb 15:23).
We are also taught that soft response takes away anger and of course we know that only when Christ reigns in our hearts can we speak in love and without exalting ourselves (Proverbs 15: 1).
Our patience is part and parcel of not getting angry and speaking soft words that can break down any kind of resistance in the person who listens (Proverbs 25:15).
The Bible also says that if we behave according to God´s heart and can walk with sobriety and justice, good words will flow from our mouths that will foster a lasting unity with those who listen (2 Chronicles 10: 7).
The mouth of a person who lives according to the Word of God will be a source of life and promises of hope, love, justice, grace and mercy will always flow from it, because that is the will of God with those who have declared His children (Proverbs 10:11).
The mouths of the wise pronounce words that bring healing and are a tree of life for those who are broken and needy and that is why a born-again Christian must fill his heart with the Word of God in order to be the consolation of all who need it (Proverbs 12:18, 15: 4).
