Jesús es entregado a Poncio Pilato

Venida la mañana, todos los principales sacerdotes y los ancianos del pueblo entraron en consejo contra Jesús, para entregarle a muerte. Y le llevaron atado, y le entregaron a Poncio Pilato, el gobernador.

Mateo 27:1-2 (RVR1960)

Cambiador del Mundo: Jesús después de haber sido falsamente juzgado por los fariseos y escribas judíos, El fue entregado a Poncio Pilato que era el gobernador.
Jesús estaba de pie delante de Pilato, y éste le preguntó si El era el Rey de los judíos, y la respuesta de Jesús fue: Tu lo dices.
Y siendo acusado por los principales sacerdotes y por los ancianos, nada respondió.
Pilato entonces le dijo a Jesús: ¿no oyes cuántas cosas testifican contra ti? Pero Jesús no le respondió ninguna palabra, de tal manera que el gobernador se maravillaba mucho.
Los principales sacerdotes persuadieron a la multitud que librasen a Barrabás y que Jesús fuese muerto en su lugar, así que Pilato se lavó las manos y dijo: inocente soy de la sangre de este justo; allá ustedes.
Respondiendo todo el pueblo dijo: su sangre sea sobre nosotros y nuestro hijos, por lo que fue librado Barrabás y Jesús fue entregado para ser crucificado.
Los soldados se burlaron de El, poniéndole una corona de espinas, escupiéndolo y golpeándole su cabeza con una vara de caña y después de haberle escarnecido, le quitaron el manto y lo llevaron para ser crucificado.
Llegaron al Gólgota, le dieron a beber vinagre con hiel, lo crucificaron, repartieron sus vestidos, para que se cumpliese la profecía. Y pusieron sobre su cabeza un letrero: ESTE ES JESÚS EL REY DE LOS JUDÍOS.
Finalmente a la hora novena Jesús exclamó: Elí Elí lama sabactani? Esto es Dios mío, Dios mío, ¿Por qué me has desamparado? Mas Jesús habiendo otra vez clamado a gran voz, entregó el espíritu. Y he aquí el velo del Templo se rasgó en dos y la tierra tembló y se abrieron los sepulcros y muchos cuerpos de santos que habían dormido, salieron de los sepulcros después de la resurrección de El, y vinieron a la Santa Ciudad y aparecieron a muchos.
Cristo nuestro Salvador y esperanza de vida eterna. Aleluya.

Jesus is handed over to Pontious Pilate

When morning came, all the chief priests and elders of the people plotted against Jesus to put Him to death. And when they had bound Him, they led Him away and delivered Him to Pontius Pilate the governor.
Matthew 27:1-2 (NKJV)

World Changer : Jesus, after being falsely judged by the Pharesees and Jew scribes, He was handed over to Pontious Pilate who was the governor.
Jesus was standing before Pilate and this man asked Him if He was the King of the Jews and the answer was : You say it.
And being accused by the high priests and by the elders, He didn’t answer any word.
Then Pilate told Jesus : don’t you hear how many things testify against you? But Jesus didn’t say a word, so the governor was very marvelled.
The main priests persuaded the multitude to free Barrabas and that Jesus would be dead in his place, so Pilate washed his hands and said : I am innocent from the blood of this just man.
And the people said : His blood maybe on us and our children, and Barrabas was freed and Jesus was handed over to be crucified.
The soldiers mocked at Him putting a crown of spines, spitting at Him and hiting at Him on the head with a cane stick and after having mocked Him they took off the cloack and took Him to be crucified.
They arrived at the Golgota, gave Him to drink vinegar with gall, they crucified Him, they distributed His clothes so the prophecy may be fulfilled. And they placed above His head a sign : THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF JEWS.
Finally, at the nine hour Jesus exclaimed : Eli, Eli sabactani? This means, my God, my God, why have you forsaken me? But Jesus having cried out in a loud voice, He delivered His spirirt. And behold the veil of the temple was torn in two and the earth trembled and the graves were opened and many bodies of saints that had been asleep got out of the graves after His resurrection and they came to the Holy City and appeared to many.
Christ our Saviour and hope of eternal life. Hallelujah.
