Yo soy el Señor, en justicia te he llamado; te sostendré por la mano y por ti velaré, y te pondré como pacto para el pueblo, como luz para las naciones, para que abras los ojos a los ciegos, para que saques de la cárcel a los presos, y de la prisión a los que moran en tinieblas. Cambiador del Mundo: En la vida sin importar los años que han pasado con toda seguridad todos los seres humanos tienen una historia y un testimonio que contar. Para algunos hubo mucha destrucción, para otros quizá lograron algunas metas sin poder disfrutarlas, otros más no pudieron cumplir sus sueños y otros ni siquiera vivieron lo suficiente, y estamos hablando de personas que no tuvieron una relación personal con Jesucristo. Pero cuando se revela el evangelio al corazón de una persona, Dios mismo pone en ella Su Espíritu Santo y quita la ceguera espiritual que por años impidió que esta persona conociera el propósito para el cual Dios la había creado. El nuevo nacimiento sucede cuando alguien se arrepiente y le pide perdón a Dios por sus pecados y le entrega todo su ser para que nuestro Señor Jesucristo limpie, dirija y sostenga hasta el último día en la tierra la vida de aquel que se ha convertido. *Pero lo más importante es que Dios no va a compartir Su gloria ni Su alabanza con nadie más, ni mucho menos a los ídolos que nosotros nos hacemos por religiosos o por no conocer la Palabra de Dios, peor aun cuando nuestro “Yo”, ideas o dinero se vuelven nuestros ídolos personales. Pero ya que Dios ha abierto nuestros ojos y oídos espirituales, la Biblia tiene que ser nuestro manual de promesas eternas (Romanos 10:8-13). Cristo en nosotros nuestra esperanza de gloria y nuestra victoria que cambia el mundo (Colosenses 1:26-27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57). Aleluya.

World Changer: In life, no matter the years that have passed it is for sure that all human beings have a history and a testimony to tell. For some there was many destruction, for others maybe they accomplished some goals without enjoying them, still others could not fulfill their dreams and still others did not even live long enough, and we are talking about people who did not have a personal relationship with Jesuschrist.
But when the Gospel reveals to the heart of a person, God Himself places in him or her His Holy Spirit and takes off the spiritual blindness that for years prevented this person from knowing the purpose for which God had created him or her.
The new birth happens when someone repents and ask God for forgiveness of his or her sins and he or she gives his or her whole being to Him so that our Lord Jesus Christ cleanses, directs and sustains the life of the one who has been converted until the last day on earth.
*But the most important thing is that God is not going to share His glory or praise with anyone, much less to the idols that we make because of being religious or not knowing the Word of God, even worse when our «I», ideas or money become our personal idols. But since God has opened our spiritual eyes and ears, the Bible has to be our manual of eternal promises (Romans 10: 8-13).

Podemos confiar en Jesús.

Bendito es el hombre que confía en el Señor, cuya confianza es el Señor. Será como árbol plantado junto al agua, que extiende sus raíces junto a la corriente; no temerá cuando venga el calor, y sus hojas estarán verdes; en año de sequía no se angustiará ni cesará de dar fruto. Jeremías 17:7-8 (LBLA)

Cambiador del Mundo: Solamente cuando estamos en Cristo, podemos entender estas escrituras y tomar la decisión de rendirnos plenamente a la Palabra de Dios. El Profeta Jeremías nos habla de que lo opuesto a confiar en Dios es querer confiar en el hombre, pero nuestro Señor nos dice: maldito el hombre que en el hombre confía y hace de la carne su fortaleza, y del Señor se aparta su corazón. Será como arbusto sin raíces en el desierto y como alguien que no verá el bien cuando venga, y por lo tanto habitará en pedregales, en tierra seca, sin habitantes (Jeremías 17:5-6). Tristemente muchos de nosotros antes de conocer a Jesús y declararlo nuestro Señor y Salvador, vivíamos confiando en el hombre, en las circunstancias y hasta en nuestro propio criterio y todo esto nos llevó a destrucción y a todo tipo de bancarrota y no fue hasta que nos arrepentimos y empezamos a leer la Biblia como la Palabra de Dios en la que teníamos que confiar, que toda nuestra vida empezó a cambiar y empezamos a obtener las primeras victorias después de tantos años de fracasos. *Muchos libros en las Sagradas Escrituras nos hablan de este tema, que nuestra confianza tiene que estar puesta exclusivamente en Jesús, pues Él es el único que nos puede dar la victoria aun cuando estemos atravesando el más árido desierto. Todos necesitamos un día arrepentirnos, pedirle perdón a Jesús e invitarlo a nuestro corazón y declararlo nuestro Dios (Romanos 10:8-13). Cristo en nosotros nuestra esperanza de gloria y nuestra victoria que cambia el mundo (Colosenses 1:26-27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57). Aleluya. *Promesa.

We can trust in Jesus

«Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.
Jeremiah 17:7-8 (NKJV)

World Changer: Only when we are in Christ we can understand these Scriptures and take the decision to surrender fully to the Word of God.
Prophet Jeremiah talks to us that the opposite in trusting God is wanting to trust in man but our Lord tells us: cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, and turns his heart away from the Lord. It will be like a rootless bush in the desert and like someone who will not see good when it comes, and therefore will live on rocky ground, in dry land, without inhabitants (Jeremiah 17: 5-6).
Sadly, many of us before knowing Jesus and declare Him our Lord and Saviour, we lived trusting in man, in the circumstances and even our own judgment and all of this led to destruction and all kinds of bankruptcy and it wasn’t until we repented and started reading the Bible as the Word of God that we had to trust that our whole life began to change and we began to get the first victories after so many years of failures.
*Many books in the Holy Scriptures talk to us about this theme, that our trust has to be placed exclusively in Jesus because He is the only one that can give us victory even when we are going through the most arid desert.
We all need one day to repent, ask forgiveness to Jesus and invite Him to our hearts and declare Him our God (Romans 10:8-13).

Jesús conoce nuestras necesidades.

No traten de amontonar riquezas aquí en la tierra. Esas cosas se echan a perder o son destruidas por la polilla. Además, los ladrones pueden entrar y robarlas. Es mejor que amontonen riquezas en el cielo. Allí nada se echa a perder ni la polilla lo destruye. Tampoco los ladrones pueden entrar y robar. Recuerden que la verdadera riqueza consiste en obedecerme de todo corazón.

Cambiador del Mundo: En estos versículos el propio Jesús es el que nos exhorta a poner nuestra mirada y tesoros en los cielos, pues eso hará que también nuestro corazón esté más preocupado por buscar de Dios que las riquezas temporales que ofrece este mundo. Nuestros ojos son la lámpara de nuestro cuerpo y si estamos sanos de nuestra vista hablando espiritualmente, también nuestra vida estará llena de la luz del evangelio. Pero si nuestros ojos espirituales están mal enfocados, nuestra vida y búsqueda de Cristo también tendrá muchos problemas porque nuestro caminar lo haremos en oscuridad y esa no es la voluntad de Dios, Él quiere que lo pongamos a Él en primer lugar siempre (Mateo 6:33). Nadie puede servir a dos señores porque aborrecerá a uno y amará al otro, o se apegará a uno y despreciará al otro. Pero nunca podremos servir a Dios y a las riquezas. Por eso Jesús nos dijo que no nos preocupemos por nuestra vida, qué comeremos o beberemos o qué vestiremos, porque nuestra vida es más importante para Dios que el alimento y nuestro cuerpo más importante que la ropa. *Así que por nada estemos ansiosos porque nadie puede añadir un cabello a su cabeza o un centímetro a su estatura. Si Dios vistió los campos que mañana se echarán al horno, cuánto más se preocupará y dará provisión, con todos nosotros Sus hijos, cuando caminamos en fe a Él y a Su Palabra (Mateo 6:22-34). Hoy es un buen día para que entregues tu vida a Dios si aún no lo has hecho (Romanos 10:8-13). Cristo en nosotros nuestra esperanza de gloria y nuestra victoria que cambia el mundo (Colosenses 1:26-27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57). Aleluya.

Jesus knows our needs

«Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Matthew 6:19-21 (NKJV)

World Changer: In these verses Jesus Himself is the one who exhorts us to place our eyes and treasures in heaven because this will also make our hearts more concerned with seeking God than with the temporal riches that this world offers.
Our eyes are the lamp of our bodies and if we are healthy of our sight spiritually speaking, our life will also be filled with the light of the gospel.
But if our spiritual eyes are wrongly focused, our lives and search for Christ will also have many problems because we will do our walk in darkness and that is not God´s will, He wants us to put Him in the first place (Matthew 6:33).
No one can serve two masters because he will hate one and love the other, or he will be attached to one and despise the other. But we can never serve God and money.
That is why Jesus told us not to worry for our lives, what will we eat or drink or what we will wear, because our life is more important to God than food and our body more important than clothing.
*So let us not be anxious because no one can add a hair to his head or an inch to his height. If God dressed the fields that tomorrow will be thrown into the oven, how much more will He care and provide, with all of us His children, when we walk in faith to Him and His Word (Matthew 6: 22-34).
Today is a good day for you to give your life to God if you haven’t already (Romans 10: 8-13).

No hay mañana sin Cristo

Oíd ahora, los que decís: Hoy o mañana iremos a tal o cual ciudad y pasaremos allá un año, haremos negocio y tendremos ganancia. Sin embargo, no sabéis cómo será vuestra vida mañana. Solo sois un vapor que aparece por un poco de tiempo y luego se desvanece. Más bien, debierais decir: Si el Señor quiere, viviremos y haremos esto o aquello.

Cambiador del Mundo: Cuando una persona nace de nuevo como cristiano, y empieza a leer la Biblia, muchas cosas se revelan a su corazón que antes ni siquiera imaginaba, y una de ellas es precisamente la fragilidad de nuestra vida, porque los que estamos en Cristo, sabemos que nuestro día es hoy para arreglar cuentas con Dios primeramente, para arreglar cuentas con nuestro prójimo, y para enderezar las sendas por las que hemos transitado y podamos entrar a los caminos de santidad que Dios prometió a los que le aman (Isaías 35:1-8). El cristianismo no lo debemos confundir con una religión, porque no lo es, sino que debemos considerarlo el tener una simple y sincera devoción y relación con Dios y por supuesto con Jesús (Lucas 9:23-26). Sin la Biblia en nuestra vida simplemente nunca podremos caminar en el propósito eterno para el que fuimos creados y tampoco podremos gozar de frutos apacibles de justicia, si no estamos rendidos a la voluntad de nuestro Creador. *Todos los que hoy caminamos con Cristo negándonos a nosotros mismos, estamos disfrutando primeramente del amor eterno de Dios, estamos también disfrutando de vivir en Sus brazos recostados en Sus promesas y descansando en Su santidad y por eso la gente que nos conoce puede ver a Cristo en nuestra vida y declarar que somos diferentes a la gran mayoría de personas que conocen, porque esa diferencia es Cristo en nosotros. Abre hoy tu corazón a Dios y no retardes ni un día más venir a Jesús (Romanos 10:8-13). Cristo en nosotros nuestra esperanza de gloria y nuestra victoria que cambia el mundo (Colosenses 1:26-27, 1 Corintios 15:10,57). Aleluya.

There is no tomorrow without Christ

Come now, you who say, «Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit»; whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. Instead you ought to say, «If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.»

World Changer: When a person is born again as Christian and starts to read the Bible, many things reveal to his or her heart that before he or she did not even imagine, and one of them is precisely the fragility of our life, because those of us who are in Christ, know that our day is today to settle accounts with God first, to settle accounts with our neighbors, and to straighten the paths through which we have traveled and can enter the paths of holiness that God promised to those who love Him (Isaiah 35: 1-8).
Christianity should not be confused with a religion, because it is not, but we should consider it to have a simple and sincere devotion and relationship with God and of course with Jesus (Luke 9: 23-26). Without the Bible in our lives, we can simply never walk in the eternal purpose for which we were created, and we cannot enjoy the peaceful fruits of righteousness, if we are not surrendered to the will of our Creator.
*Everybody who walk with Christ denying ourselves, are enjoying first of all of the eternal love of God, we are also enjoying to live in His arms leaning on His promises and resting in His holiness and that is why people who know us can see Christ in our lives and declare that we are different from the vast majority of people they know, because that difference is Christ in us.
Open your heart to God and do not delay yourself one day more to come to Jesus (Romans 10:8-13).

Fortalecidos en la Palabra de Dios

Pero persiste tú en lo que has aprendido y te persuadiste, sabiendo de quién has aprendido; y que desde la niñez has sabido las Sagradas Escrituras, las cuales te pueden hacer sabio para la salvación por la fe que es en Cristo Jesús.

2 Timoteo 3:14-15 (RVR1960)

Cambiador del Mundo: Timoteo discípulo de Pablo fue instruido en la Palabra de Dios para tomar grandes responsabilidades en las Iglesias donde fue enviado. Pablo enseña en las Escrituras la recomendación a Timoteo de seguir sus huellas en cuanto a su doctrina, conducta, propósito, fe, longanimidad, amor y paciencia. Pero Pablo también le enseño a su discípulo que vendrían persecuciones, padecimientos, como los que él mismo sufrió en Antioquía, pero su confianza estaba puesta en Jesús el cual lo sostuvo en medio de esas tribulaciones. El Apóstol Pablo, nos recalca en estas Escrituras que todos los cristianos que quieran vivir piadosamente sirviendo a Jesús, padecerán persecución. Es importante que nosotros como siervos de Dios, estemos fortalecidos día a día a través de las Escrituras, porque éstas son inspiradas por Dios y nos serán útiles para enseñar, para redargüir, para corregir y para instruir en justicia, a fin de que el hombre o la mujer de Dios, alcancen la madurez y estén enteramente preparados para toda buena obra (2 Timoteo 3:10-17). *Esta enseñanza dada a este joven siervo de Dios, es totalmente aplicable a nuestra vida, a los que somos discípulos de Cristo, y se nos exhorta a que prediquemos la Palabra a tiempo y fuera de tiempo y que aun de ser necesario reprendamos pero también exhortemos con toda paciencia y mansedumbre, siempre utilizando la Biblia. Cuidémonos de no ser engañados con una falsa doctrina, ni mucho menos tengamos comezón de oír lo que es falso, sino que mantengámonos en la verdad que hemos oído y desechemos toda fábula (2 Timoteo 4:2-5). Hoy es el día de abrir tu corazón y darle entrada a Jesús como tu Señor y Salvador (Romanos 10:8-13). Strengthened in the Word of God

But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
2 Timothy 3:14-15 (NKJV)

World Changer: Timothy, Paul’s disciple was instructed in the Word of God to take great responsibilities in the churches where he was sent.
Paul teaches in the Scriptures the recomendation to Timothy to follow his footsteps in terms of doctrine, conduct, purpose, faith, long-suffering, love, and patience. But Paul also taught his disciple that persecutions and sufferings would come, like the ones he himself suffered in Antioch, but his trust was placed in Jesus who sustained him in the midst of those tribulations.
Apostle Paul points us out in these Scriptures that all Christians that want to live Godly serving Jesus, they will suffer persecution.
It is important that we, as servants of God, are strengthened day by day through the Scriptures, because they are inspired by God and will be useful to teach, to convict, to correct and to instruct in justice, so that man or the woman of God, reach maturity and be fully prepared for every good work (2 Timothy 3: 10-17).
*This teaching given to this young servant of God is totally applicable to our lives, to those of us who are disciples of Christ, and we are exhorted to preach the Word in time and out of time and that even if necessary we rebuke but also exhort with all patience and meekness, always using the Bible.
Let us take care of ourselves as to not to be cheated with false doctrine, much less having the itch to listen what is false but to keep ourselves in the truth we have listened let us cast off all fables (2 Timothy 4: 2-5).
Today is the day to open your heart and give entrance to Jesus as your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:8-13).

Momentos de decisión.

Cambiador del Mundo: Al igual que el Rey David, muchos de nosotros como cristianos nacidos de nuevo, Dios nos hará pasar por desiertos sabiendo que ese es el lugar donde nosotros más buscaremos de Su presencia. David oraba porque tenía hambre y sed del Señor, porque estaba en medio de una persecución y a punto de perder su vida. En nuestra vida nos debemos de acercar a Dios buscando intimidad con El para que podamos recibir Su Palabra y dirección, pues todos sabemos los momentos tan difíciles que se están viviendo. También nuestro clamor al Altísimo, debe ser a toda hora proclamando que Él es nuestro socorro y ayuda. Ninguna familia podrá subsistir alejada de Cristo. No se trata de ser religiosos sino de tener una relación personal con Jesús y saber el precio que El pagó por el rescate de toda la humanidad y que fue nada menos que con Su propia vida, entregándose para ser crucificado y derramar Su sangre por nosotros. Pero resucitó al tercer día y ahora está sentado a la derecha del Padre y pacientemente sigue esperando que muchas personas vengan al arrepentimiento (Juan 3:16, 2 Pedro 3:9). *Es importante que nosotros le pidamos al Espíritu Santo que nos de revelación cuando estemos leyendo la Biblia, que es la única y verdadera Palabra de Dios, para que nuestra relación con Jesús perdure para siempre, por supuesto después de terminar nuestra carrera aquí en la tierra. Hoy es tu día de salvación para que invites a Jesús a vivir en tu corazón y le permitas que sea tu Rey y Señor (Romanos 10:8-13). Cristo en nosotros nuestra esperanza de gloria y nuestra victoria que por amor y gracia nos permite predicar el evangelio para cambiar el mundo (Colosenses 1:26-27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57, Mateo 28:19-20, Juan 15:12-13). Moments of decision

Psalms 63:1-2 (NKJV)

World Changer: Like King David, many of us as born-again Christians, God will lead us through deserts knowing that this is the place where we will most seek His presence.
David prayed because he was hungry and thirsty of the Lord because he was in the midst of a persecution and about to lose his life.
In our life we must get close to God looking for intimacy with Him to be able to receive His Word and direction because we all know that He is our relief and help.
No family will be able to survive away from Christ. It is not about being religious but to have a personal relationship with Jesus and to know the price He paid to rescue mankind and it was nothing less than with His own life, giving Himself to be crucified and shed His blood for us.
But He rose again on the third day and is now sitting at the right hand of the Father and patiently continues to wait for many people to come to repentance (John 3:16, 2 Peter 3: 9).
*It is important that we ask the Holy Spirit to give us revelation when we are reading the Bible which is the only and true Word of God so that our relationship with Jesus may last forever, of course after ending our career here on earth.
Today is your day of salvation so that you invite Jesus to live in your heart and allow Him to be your King and Lord (Romans 10: 8-13).

Cambiador del Mundo: La promesa del bautismo del Espíritu Santo, fueron las últimas palabras de Jesús antes de ascender a los cielos y después de éstas, los discípulos vieron como Jesús fue alzado y le recibió una nube que le ocultó de sus ojos (Hechos 1:9). El paso de nuestro Señor Jesucristo sobre la tierra había concluido y Él había cumplido todas las cosas que Dios le mandó para hacer al costo de su propia vida, que fue entregada en una cruz en una muerte muy dolorosa, a la que nadie le obligó, sino que lo hizo por amor a toda la humanidad. Los últimos tres años y medio de Su vida, El los consagró a predicar las buenas nuevas del Reino, provocando celos, contiendas, falsas acusaciones, burlas, todo un innumerable conjunto de ataques que Jesús enfrentó para cumplir la voluntad del Padre. Ahora los hombres de Dios que El dejó comisionados estarían esperando que se derramara el poder del Espíritu Santo en ellos, para entonces empezar a salir de sus ciudades para llevar el evangelio a todo rincón de la tierra (Mateo 28:19-20). *Los cristianos nacidos de nuevo, detengámonos hoy y pensemos por un momento el costo que todos estos hombres tuvieron que pagar que salvo Juan el Amado, los demás murieron de manera violenta y por eso nosotros no debemos poner ningún pretexto para cuando compartamos el evangelio con otras personas y demos por gracia lo que recibimos de gracia, porque esa es la voluntad de Dios (Mateo 10:8). Cristo te ama y quiere que tu abras tu corazón para seguirle y servirle (Romanos 10:8-13). Cristo en nosotros nuestra esperanza de gloria y nuestra victoria que por Su amor y gracia nos permite predicar el evangelio para cambiar el mundo (Colosenses 1:26-27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57, Juan 15:12-13). Acts 1:8-9 (NKJV)

World Changer: The promise of the baptism of the Holy Spirit were Jesus’ last words before going to heaven and after these the disciples saw how Jesus was lifted and a cloud received Him hiding Him from their eyes (Acts 1: 9).
The passage of our Lord Jesus Christ on earth had concluded and He had fulfilled all the things that God commanded Him to do at the cost of His own life, which was given on a cross in a very painful death, to which no one forced Him, rather, He did it out of love for all humanity.
The lasta three years and a half of His life, He consecrated them to preaching the good news of the Kingdom, provoking jealousy, strife, false accusations, ridicule, a whole innumerable set of attacks that Jesus faced to fulfill the will of the Father.
Now the men of God that He left commissioned would be waiting for the power of the Holy Spirit to be poured out on them, and then they would begin to leave their cities to take the gospel to every corner of the earth (Matthew 28: 19-20).
*The born again Christians, let us stop today and think for a moment the cost that all these men had to pay that except for John the Beloved, the others died in a violent way and that is why we should not make any pretext for when we share the Gospel with other people and give by grace what we receive by grace, because that is the will of God (Matthew 10: 8).
Christ loves you and wants you to open your heart to follow Him and serve Him (Romans 10:8-13).

Jesús promete el Espíritu Santo.

Porque Juan ciertamente bautizó con agua, más vosotros seréis bautizados con el Espíritu Santo dentro de no muchos días. Entonces los que se habían reunido le preguntaron, diciendo: Señor, ¿restaurarás el reino a Israel en este tiempo? Y les dijo: No os toca a vosotros saber los tiempos o las sazones, que el Padre puso en su sola potestad.

Cambiador del Mundo: Durante los cuarenta días en los que Jesús estuvo presentándose delante de Sus discípulos y de otras personas más después de la resurrección, había mucha incertidumbre e incredulidad en todos los fariseos y aun en todo tipo de judíos, pero a pesar de eso, el Señor estaba haciendo varias promesas y advertencias a todos aquellos que querían escuchar Sus palabras. Todavía no había descendido el Espíritu Santo en el Aposento Alto, porque Jesús no había subido a los cielos con Su Padre, pero si les dijo que el bautizo con el Espíritu Santo vendría dentro de no muchos días, profetizando lo que días después sucedió en Pentecostés. Ahora bien los discípulos y los cercanos a Él, le preguntaron en qué tiempo El restauraría el Reino a Israel. Y por supuesto que Jesús los reprendió y les aclaró que eso solamente el Padre lo decidiría y lo haría, pero una cosa si era segura, que los que quisieran caminar unánimes como cristianos nacidos de nuevo, serían bautizados con el Espíritu Santo de Dios, para llevar el mensaje desde Jerusalén, en toda Judea, en Samaria y hasta lo último de la tierra. *Nosotros los hijos de Dios sabemos y disfrutamos del Espíritu de adopción que Dios puso en nuestro corazón, por lo que ahora nos declaramos hijos de Dios. Esta enseñanza la hizo el Apóstol Pablo a la Iglesia en Roma (Romanos 8:15-16). La importancia de este devocional, es para que hoy abras tu corazón a Dios y lo recibas como tu Señor y Salvador (Romanos 10:8-13). Jesus promises the Holy Spirit

for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.» Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, «Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?» And He said to them, «It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.

World Changer: During the forty days in which Jesus was presenting Himself before His disciples and other people after the resurrection, there was a lot of uncertainty and unbelief in all the Pharisees and even all kinds of Jews, but despite that, the Lord was making various promises and warnings to all those who wanted to hear His words.
The Holy Spirit had not yet descended in the Upper Room, because Jesus had not ascended to heaven with His Father, but He did tell them that the baptism with the Holy Spirit would come in not many days, prophesying what days later happened at Pentecost .
Now the disciples and those close to Him, asked Him at what time He would restore the Kingdom to Israel. And of course Jesus rebuked them and clarified that only the Father would decide and do it, but one thing was certain, that those who wanted to walk unanimously as born-again Christians, would be baptized with the Holy Spirit of God, to carry the message from Jerusalem, throughout all Judea, in Samaria and to the ends of the earth.
*We the children of God know and enjoy the Spirit of adoption that God placed in our hearts, which is why we now declare ourselves children of God. This teaching was made by the Apostle Paul to the Church in Rome (Romans 8: 15-16).
The importance of this devotional is for you to open your heart to God today and receive Him as your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:8-13).

Jesús en sus últimos días en la tierra.

Hasta el día en que fue recibido arriba, después de haber dado mandamientos por el Espíritu Santo a los apóstoles que había escogido; a quienes también, después de haber padecido, se presentó vivo con muchas pruebas indubitables, apareciéndoseles durante cuarenta días y hablándoles acerca del reino de Dios. Y estando juntos, les mandó que no se fueran de Jerusalén, sino que esperasen la promesa del Padre, la cual, les dijo, oísteis de mí.

Cambiador del Mundo: Nuestro Señor Jesucristo después de haber resucitado de los muertos, caminó por cuarenta días más sobre la tierra, y les insistió a Sus discípulos de cómo debieran actuar para prepararse e instruirse sobre el Reino de Dios, el cual ahora ellos predicarían, pues Jesús regresaría a los cielos con Dios Su Padre. Por eso también les mandó que no salieran de Jerusalén hasta que recibiesen la promesa del Espíritu Santo de la que había hablado Jesús. En una de Sus enseñanzas antes de Su crucifixión, Jesús le dijo a Sus Apóstoles lo que iba a acontecer cuando cumpliera Su propósito y se fuera de esta tierra. El habló de que era conveniente Su partida para que viniera el Espíritu Santo y convenciera al mundo de pecado, de justicia y de juicio. Quizá en ese momento no entenderían mucho pero cuando viniera el Espíritu de verdad, El los guiaría porque no hablará por Su cuenta, sino que hablará todo lo que oyere de mi Padre y os hará saber todas las cosas que habrán de venir. El Espíritu Santo me glorificará porque tomará de lo mío dijo Jesús y se los hará saber (Juan 16:1-15). *También nosotros debemos recibir esta misma promesa de que Dios nos capacitará y bendecirá con Su Espíritu Santo cuando le hayamos entregado nuestro corazón a Él y lo declaremos Rey y Señor de nuestra vida (Romanos 10:8-13). Jesus on His last days on earth

until the day in which He was taken up, after He through the Holy Spirit had given commandments to the apostles whom He had chosen, to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God. And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, «which,» He said, «you have heard from Me”.

World Changer: Our Lord Jesuschrist after being risen from the dead walked on earth for forty days and He insisted His disciples on how they should act to prepare and learn about the Kingdom of God, which they would now preach, since Jesus would return to heaven with God His Father.
That is why He also commanded them not to leave Jerusalem until they received the promise of the Holy Spirit that Jesus had spoken of.
In one of His teachings before His crucifixion, Jesus told His Apostles what would happen when He fulfilled His purpose and left this earth. He spoke that His departure was convenient for the Holy Spirit to come and convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. Perhaps at that time they would not understand much but when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide them because He will not speak on His own, but will speak everything that I hear from my Father and He will let you know all the things that will come.
The Holy Spirit will glorify me because He will take what is mine, said Jesus and will make it known to you (John 16: 1-15).
*We also must receive this same promise that God will empower and bless us with His Holy Spirit when we have given our hearts to Him and declare Him King and Lord of our lives (Romans 10: 8-13).

Los tiempos de Dios para Sus escogidos.

De cierto, de cierto te digo: Cuando eras más joven, te ceñías, e ibas a donde querías; más cuando ya seas viejo, extenderás tus manos, y te ceñirá otro, y te llevará a donde no quieras. Esto dijo, dando a entender con qué muerte había de glorificar a Dios. Y dicho esto, añadió: Sígueme. Juan 21:18-19 (RVR1960)

Cambiador del Mundo: Nuestro Señor Jesucristo, después de estar pidiéndole a Pedro tres veces que declarara su amor hacia Él, le dio una última instrucción y era acerca de la importancia de los tiempos en su llamado, y por supuesto, fue la profecía que Jesús le dio de las pruebas que iban a venir sobre él, para que nada lo sorprendiera durante su caminar cristiano. Jesús le recordó su juventud cuando fue llamado a seguirlo y que dejo de ser un pescador físicamente, para convertirse en un pescador de hombres (de almas) para salvar vidas, pero ahora le advertía que por causa de su servicio a Dios, terminaría como un mártir de la fe. Nuestro Señor le habló resaltándole que conforme él testificara Su Nombre y fuera una persona entrada en años, él extendería sus manos para que otro lo ciñera y lo llevara a donde Pedro no querría ir. Todo esto fue para darle a entender cómo moriría y que por cierto su muerte fue en una cruz pero de cabeza. *Todos nosotros los que venimos a Cristo debemos entender la gran responsabilidad de nuestro llamado y de que El cumplirá Sus promesas sobre aquellos que mantengan la fe en Su Nombre y su vida entregada al evangelio. Así es que esto que está escrito en la Biblia, no es solo para Pedro y el resto de los Apóstoles, sino una exhortación para todos los siervos de Dios en todos los tiempos que abran su corazón a Jesús (Romanos 1:16, 10:8-13). Cristo en nosotros nuestra esperanza de gloria y nuestra victoria que por Su amor y gracia nos permite predicar el evangelio para cambiar el mundo (Colosenses 1:26-27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57, Mateo 28:19-20, Juan 15:12-13). God’s timing for His chosen ones

Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish.» This He spoke, signifying by what death he would glorify God. And when He had spoken this, He said to him, «Follow Me.»

World Changer: Our Lord Jesuschrist, after asking Peter three times that he declared his love for Him, He gave him one last instruction and it was about the importance of timing in his call and of course, it was the prophecy that Jesus gave him about the trials that were to come upon him, so that nothing would surprise him during his Christian walk.
Jesus reminded him of his youth when he was called to follow Him and that he stopped being a fisherman physically, to become a fisher of men (of souls) to save lives, but now He was warning him that because of his service to God, he would end up as a martyr of faith. Our Lord spoke to him emphasizing that as he testified to His Name and became an older person, he would stretch out his hands for another to gird him up and take him where Peter would not want to go.
All this was to make him understand how he would die and by the way, his death was in a cross upside down.
*All of us, the ones that come to Christ must understand about the great responsibility of our call and that He will fulfill His promises on all those that keep the faith in His Name and life delivered to the Gospel. So this is written on the the Bible, it is not only for Peter and the rest of the Apostles but an exhortation to all God’s servants at all times to open their hearts to Jesus (Romans 1:16, 10: 8-13).
