Jesús el Mesías

Y al oír Juan, en la cárcel, los hechos de Cristo, le envió dos de sus discípulos, para preguntarle: ¿Eres tú aquel que había de venir, o esperaremos a otro? Respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: Id, y haced saber a Juan las cosas que oís y veis. Los ciegos ven, los cojos andan, los leprosos son limpiados, los sordos oyen, los muertos son resucitados, y a los pobres es anunciado el evangelio; y bienaventurado es el que no halle tropiezo en mí.

Cambiador del Mundo: Aun Juan el Bautista, cuando fue llevado preso, mandó a su gente para preguntarle a Jesús si El era el Mesías verdadero. Y Jesús les aclaró acerca de todos los milagros que habían estado ocurriendo por varios lugares por donde El caminaba, y al final hace una advertencia diciendo: Bienaventurado aquel que no halle tropiezo en mi.
Si Juan el Bautista que era el primo de Jesús, y era también el que lo había bautizado, ¿Cómo es que tuvo duda de la identidad del Hijo de Dios?. Eso solo lo podemos entender por causa de que estaría muy atribulado en la prisión, y preguntándose el por qué estaba preso, si lo único que había hablado era la verdad.
Pero Dios lo permitió y no podemos nosotros tratar de razonar esa prueba que estaba atravesando Juan.
*Cuánto mas debemos de estar alertas de que los acontecimientos que nos rodean no nos traigan dudas y temores que pueda provocar el apartarnos de Dios, porque también nosotros podemos testificar que hemos visto que los ciegos ven, los cojos y leprosos son sanados y limpiados, los sordos oyen, y aun muchos que estábamos muertos espiritualmente, ahora estamos vivos por la gracia de Dios.
Cristo te ama y quiere salvarte el día de hoy (Romanos 10:8-13).
Cristo en nosotros nuestra esperanza de gloria y nuestra victoria que por Su amor y gracia nos permite predicar el Evangelio para cambiar el mundo (Colosenses 1:26-27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57, Mateo 28:19-20, Juan 15:12-13). Aleluya.

Jesus the Messiah

When John, who was in prison, heard about the deeds of the Messiah, he sent his disciples to ask him, “Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect someone else?” Jesus replied, “Go back and report to John what you hear and see: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hears, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor. Blessed is anyone who does not stumble on account of me.”

World Changer: Even John the Baptist, when he was taken prisoner, sent his people to ask Jesus if He was the true Messiah. And Jesus clarified to them about all the miracles that had been happening in various places where He was walking, and at the end, He gave a warning saying: Blessed is he who finds no stumbling block in me.
If John the Baptist who was the cousin of Jesus, and was also the one who had baptized Him, how is it that he had doubts about the identity of the Son of God? We can only understand that because he would be very troubled in prison and wondering why he was imprisoned if the only thing he had spoken was the truth.
But God allowed it and we cannot try to reason about the trial that John was going through.

*How much more should we be aware that the events that surround us do not bring us doubts and fears that may cause a departure from God, because we too can testify that we have seen that the blind see, the lame and lepers are healed and cleansed, the deaf hear, and even many who were spiritually dead are now alive by the grace of God.
Christ loves you and wants to save you today (Romans 10: 8-13).
Christ in us our hope of glory and our victory that by His love and grace allows us to preach the Gospel to change the world (Colossians 1: 26-27, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 57, Matthew 28: 19-20, John 15: 12-13). Hallelujah.
