Enseñanza a los fariseos.

Entonces vinieron a él los discípulos de Juan, diciendo: ¿Por qué nosotros y los fariseos ayunamos muchas veces, y tus discípulos no ayunan? Jesús les dijo: ¿Acaso pueden los que están de bodas tener luto entre tanto que el esposo está con ellos? Pero vendrán días cuando el esposo les será quitado, y entonces ayunarán.

Cambiador del Mundo: En muchas ocasiones Jesús tenía que estar dando explicaciones del por qué hacía o dejaba de hacer algo, tanto los discípulos de Juan como algunos fariseos, intentaban provocar a Jesús para que actuara religiosamente y uno de estos aspectos era el ayuno. Jesús pacientemente les explicaba que Él estaba de fiesta con Sus discípulos porque los estaba preparando para que un día fueran la Novia vestida de lino fino y El sería el Esposo, el que finalmente se casaría en los cielos en las Bodas del Cordero. Ese fue el mensaje que explicó el Señor, lo que ahora era como un ensayo que se estaba realizando aquí en la tierra, pero ellos nunca entendieron. Los cristianos nacidos de nuevo, tenemos que buscar una experiencia personal con Jesús, que nos permita conocerle íntimamente y poner para siempre nuestra fe en Él. No nos acerquemos a Jesús para pedirle cosas materiales o aun sanidades físicas, o solución de problemas para luego dejarlo y regresar a nuestro mundo a vivir en oscuridad y tinieblas, porque entonces estaríamos actuando como esos fariseos o los discípulos de Juan, que estaban más preocupados de su apariencia religiosa que de su relación personal con Dios. *Acerquémonos a Dios porque queremos amarle, honrarle, servirle, y derramar nuestra vida en Su propósito y con toda seguridad el fruto de ponerlo en primer lugar, abrirá las ventanas de los cielos en nuestra vida (Mateo 6:33). Cristo te ama y quiere hacer una obra nueva en ti para que seas salvo tú y todo aquel que se arrepienta viendo tu vida (Romanos 10:8-13). Cristo en nosotros nuestra esperanza de gloria y nuestra victoria que por Su amor y gracia nos permite predicar el Evangelio para cambiar el mundo (Colosenses 1:26-27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57, Mateo 28:19-20, Juan 15:12-13). Teaching the Pharisees.

Then the disciples of John came to Him, saying, «Why do we and the Pharisees fast often, but Your disciples do not fast?» And Jesus said to them, «Can the friends of the bridegroom mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast.

World Changer: On many occasions Jesus had to give explanations of why He did or did not do something, both John’s disciples and some Pharisees tried to provoke Jesus to act religiously and one of these aspects was fasting.

Jesus patiently explained to them that He was celebrating with His disciples because He was preparing them so that one day they would be the Bride dressed in fine linen and He would be the Bridegroom, the one who would finally be married in heaven at the Wedding of the Lamb.
That was the message that the Lord explained, what was now like a rehearsal going on here on earth, but they never understood.
We born-again Christians have to look for a personal experience with Jesus that allows us to know Him intimately and to place forever our faith in Him. Let’s not approach Jesus to ask Him for material things or even physical healings, or to solve problems and then leave Him and return to our world to live in darkness, because then we would be acting like those Pharisees or John’s disciples, who were more concerned of his religious appearance than of his personal relationship with God.
*Let us get close to God because we want to love Him, honor Him and serve Him and pour our lives in His purpose and it is for sure that the fruit of putting Him in the first place will open the heavens in our lives (Matthew 6:33).
Christ loves you and wants do a new work on you so you can be saved and all those that repent seeing your life (Romans 10:8-13).
Christ in us our hope of glory and our victory that by His love and grace allows us to preach the Gospel to change the world. (Colossians 1:26-27, 1 Corinthians 15:10,57, Matthew 28:19-20, John 15:12-13). Hallelujah.
