Jesús y el ayuno.
Cuando ayunéis, no seáis austeros, como los hipócritas; porque ellos demudan sus rostros para mostrar a los hombres que ayunan; de cierto os digo que ya tienen su recompensa. Pero tú, cuando ayunes, unge tu cabeza y lava tu rostro, para no mostrar a los hombres que ayunas, sino a tu Padre que está en secreto; y tu Padre que ve en lo secreto te recompensará en público.

Cambiador del Mundo: Cuando el Señor nos manda a ayunar, normalmente lo hará de una manera privada y ahí es cuando cada persona deberá hacerlo de manera discreta y sin anunciar que está ayunando, porque Dios quiere que lo hagamos de manera íntima con Él. En estos versículos del Nuevo Testamento, Jesús estaba enseñando y a la vez corrigiendo a los fariseos que eran según la Biblia hipócritas, porque cambiaban su expresión como si fueran víctimas y eso no agrada a nuestro Creador. Dios quiere que cuando ayunemos, tengamos un rostro lleno de gozo para que no seamos de tropiezo a nadie y no mostrar a los hombres que ayunamos. Pero el Padre que está en lo secreto y que ve todas las cosas, Él recompensará en público a todo aquel que le ofrezca un ayuno. Moisés ayunó cuarenta días al igual que Cristo y muchas oraciones fueron respondidas, además de la fortaleza espiritual que se derramó en ellos. *En el caso de Jesús, El pasó un momento de ataque espiritual al ser tentado precisamente con comida, pero salió victorioso porque Él estaba lleno del Espíritu Santo. Eso mismo acontecerá con todos aquellos que hagan un ayuno dirigido por el Espíritu de Dios, con el fin de escuchar de manera más clara la voz del Señor, aclarando que ninguno de estos ayunos se debe de hacer por motivos egoístas. Cristo te ama y está tocando la puerta de tu corazón (Romanos 10:8-13). Cristo en nosotros nuestra esperanza de gloria y nuestra victoria que por Su amor y gracia nos permite cambiar el mundo (Colosenses 1:26-27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57, Mateo 28:19-20, Juan 15:12-13). Jesus and fasting.
«Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
Matthew 6:16-18 (NKJV)
World Changer: When the Lord commands us to fast, He will normally do it in a private way and that is when each person should do it discreetly and without announcing that they are fasting because God wants us to do it in an intimate way with Him.
In these verses of the New Testament, Jesus was teaching and at the same time correcting the Pharisees who were hypocritical according to the Bible, because they changed their expression as if they were victims and that does not please our Creator.
God wants us that when we fast we have a face filled with joy so that we will not stumble anyone and not show men that we fast. But the Father who is in secret and who sees all things, He will publicly reward everyone who offers Him a fast.
Moses fasted forty days just like Christ and many prayers were answered, in addition to the spiritual strength that was poured out on them.
*In the case of Jesus, He went through a moment of spiritual attack by being tempted precisely with food, but He was victorious because He was filled with the Holy Spirit. The same will happen with all those who do a fast directed by the Spirit of God, in order to hear the voice of the Lord more clearly, clarifying that none of these fasts should be done for selfish reasons.
Christ loves you and is knocking on the door of your heart (Romans 10: 8-13).
Christ in us our hope of glory and our victory that by His love and grace allows us to change the world (Colossians 1: 26-27, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 57, Matthew 28: 19-20, John 15: 12 -13). Hallelujah.
