El hijo sabio acepta la disciplina de su padre, pero el escarnecedor no escucha la reprensión. Proverbios 13:1 (LBLA)
Cambiador del Mundo: Tenemos gran responsabilidad como padres cristianos de ser ejemplo a nuestros hijos en pensamientos palabras y acciones, para que ellos no tengan tropiezo durante su vida desde pequeños hasta el día que salgan de casa. Los padres que son hijos de Dios, tienen que vivir lo que están hablando, lo que están aconsejando, lo que quieren que sus hijos hagan y todo esto deberá ser un testimonio vivo y muy claro para que toda su descendencia pueda recibir y madurar, viendo el ejemplo fiel de sus padres. En un hogar cristiano, unos padres sabios, procrearán hijos sabios que aceptarán con gusto la disciplina, porque saben y han visto las bendiciones que han alcanzado a su familia por ser personas que tienen un temor reverente a Dios, y que con sus hechos lo glorifican y por eso, los hijos obedecen de forma inmediata toda palabra que sale de la boca de sus padres, porque ellos saben que todo obrará para su bienestar. Puede suceder muchas veces como se menciona en la carta a los Hebreos, que la disciplina al momento no parece que traiga un fruto de gozo, pero después traerá mucha bendición al que la recibe. Los que reciben la disciplina Dios los trata como a hijos, y todo padre también debe de dar disciplina a su descendencia porque es la voluntad de Dios. Un padre que ama a su hijo lo disciplina y todo es para su bien, cuánto más Dios buscará que la disciplina que nos otorga nos lleve a un camino de santidad (Hebreos 12:5-13). Por lo tanto, procuremos como familia cristiana fortalecer con la Palabra de Dios la vida de nuestros hijos, para que ellos caminen firmes la senda de la vida que Dios les otorgue vivir. Cristo en nosotros la esperanza de gloria y nuestra victoria que por Su gracia nos permite cambiar el mundo (Colosenses 1:26-27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57). Aleluya.
The wise son listens to his father
A wise son heeds his father’s instruction, but a mocker does not respond to rebukes.

World Changer: We have a great responsibility as Christian parents to be an example to our children in thoughts, words, and actions for all those that do not have stumble during their life from little to the day they leave home. Parents who are children of God have to live what they are talking about, what they are advising, what they want their children to do and all of this should be a living and very clear testimony so that all their offspring can receive and mature, seeing the faithful example of their parents.
In a Christian home wise parents will procreate wise children who will gladly accept discipline because they know and have seen the blessings that have come to their family for being people who have a reverent fear of God, and who glorify Him with their deeds and therefore, Children immediately obey every word that comes out of their parents’ mouths because they know that everything will work for their well-being.
It can happen many times as mentioned in the letter to the Hebrews, that discipline at the moment does not seem to bring a fruit of joy, but afterward, it will bring many blessings to the recipient. Those who receive discipline God treats them like children and every parent should also discipline their offspring because it is God’s will. A father who loves his son disciplines him and everything is for his good, how much more God will seek that the discipline that he grants us leads us to a path of holiness (Hebrews 12: 5-13).
Therefore, let us try as a Christian family to strengthen the lives of our children with the Word of God so that they walk firmly the path of life that God grants them to live.
Christ in us the hope of glory and our victory that by His grace allows us to change the world (Colossians 1: 26-27, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 57). Hallelujah.
