Posesión preciosa es la diligencia
El indolente no asa su presa,pero la posesión más preciosa del hombre es la diligencia. Proverbios 12:27 (LBLA)
Cambiador del Mundo: El indolente es un perezoso que tiene total falta de voluntad y que su carácter no le permite hacer tareas prioritarias en su vida y obviamente quedará siempre rezagado sin ninguna justificación, porque él mismo tiene la salida y el poder de renunciar a su forma de ser.
Pero el hombre diligente tiene como su mayor tesoro el actuar con diligencia en todo lo que hace y eso permite que se gane el respeto de todos aquellos que le conocen y que aun pueda ser de bendición a quienes no conocen ni pueden actuar de esa manera.
En nuestra vida cristiana podemos caer en el riesgo de volvernos indolentes o sea perezosos y faltos de voluntad a la Palabra de Dios, empezar a deslizarnos poco a poco dejando de leer la Biblia, de orar, testificar y ganar almas para Cristo, simplemente empezar a apartarnos y enfriarnos de nuestra relación con nuestro Creador. O bien adoptar una posición de cristiano tibio al cual la Biblia lo señala de caminar en una condición peligrosa, pues Dios rechaza a todo aquel que sigue estos pasos.
Seamos cristianos nacidos de nuevo con un corazón diligente que en todo momento y circunstancia de su vida pone en primer lugar a Dios y es diligente en su oración y devoción a El. No importándole nada mas que vivir en la voluntad el Señor (Mateo 6:33).
Un ejemplo bíblico a seguir sería la historia del joven Timoteo que desde pequeño fue instruido en la Palabra de Dios por su madre y su abuela y años después fue un discípulo y prácticamente un hijo en la fe del Apóstol Pablo, el cual en muchas de sus cartas bíblicas lo cita como una persona en la que podía delegar responsabilidades sabiendo que este joven las cumpliría y daría e resultado que esperaba el Apóstol.
Cristo en nosotros la esperanza de gloria y nuestra victoria que por Su gracia nos permite cambiar el mundo (Colosenses 1:26-27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57). Aleluya.
Precious possession is diligence
The lazy do not roast any game, but the diligent feed on the riches of the hunt.
Proverbs 12:27 (NKJV)
World Changer: The indolent is a lazy person who has a total lack of will and whose character does not allow him to do priority tasks in his life and obviously will always be left behind without any justification because he himself has the way out and the power to renounce his way of being.
But the diligent man has as his greatest treasure to act diligently in everything he does and that allows him to earn the respect of all those who know him and that he can even be a blessing to those who do not know or cannot act in that way.
In our Christian life, we can run the risk of becoming indolent or lazy or to lack of will to the Word of God, to begin to slowly slip away from reading the Bible, praying, witnessing, and winning souls for Christ, just starting to pull away and cool off from our relationship with our Creator. Or adopt a position of lukewarm Christian to which the Bible points out to walk in a dangerous condition since God rejects everyone who follows these steps.
Let us be born again Christians with a diligent heart that at every moment and circumstance of our lives put God first and we are diligent in our prayers and devotion to Him. we care nothing more than living in the Lord’s will (Matthew 6: 33).
A biblical example to follow would be the story of young Timothy that since he was little he was instructed in the Word of God by his mother and grandmother and years after he was a disciple and practically Apostle Paul’s son in the faith who in many of his biblical letters cites him as a person to whom he could delegate responsibilities knowing that this young man would fulfill them and give the result that the Apostle expected.
Christ in us the hope of glory and our victory that by His grace allows us to change the world (Colossians 1: 26-27, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 57). Hallelujah.
