Corrige al sabio y te amará
Él que corrige al escarnecedor, atrae sobre sí deshonra, y el que reprende al impío recibe insultos. No reprendas al escarnecedor, para que no te aborrezca; reprende al sabio, y te amará. Da instrucción al sabio, y será aún más sabio, enseña al justo, y aumentará su saber. Proverbios 9:7-9 (LBLA)
Cambiador del Mundo: Qué difíciles de entender son estos tres versículos porque leemos que el que corrige al escarnecedor (burlador) atrae sobre él deshonra y el que reprende al impío, recibe insultos. ¿No se supone que estos dos tipos de personas necesitan la instrucción de Dios para cambiar? ¿Por qué entonces no solamente rechazan la instrucción de Dios que les ayudaría, sino que además se tornan agresivos a quien los quiere ayudar? Pero si uno reprende al hombre sabio, éste te amará, lo mismo si alguien lo instruye, le dará gracias a su instructor, porque el que enseña al justo le ayudará a aumentar su saber. En lo natural una persona difícilmente tendrá revelación de lo que es caminar en la bendición de un cristiano, porque recordemos que un hijo de Dios y discípulo de Cristo, tiene como prioridad alimentarse diariamente de la Palabra de Vida que solamente se encuentra en la Biblia, y eso empieza a marcar la diferencia de ser una persona abatida y sin rumbo, a empezar a ser una persona con esperanza, visión, humildad, amor, gozo, fe y paz. Es necesario que aun nosotros los cristianos nacidos de nuevo, nos detengamos por un momento y evaluemos nuestra relación con Dios y el tiempo que le dedicamos a buscarle, amarle, y servirle, no solamente con palabras sino también con nuestro testimonio. Porque para eso fuimos llamados, para llevar las Buenas Nuevas del Evangelio hasta el último rincón de la tierra y ganar muchos discípulos para que también sirvan a Cristo y den testimonio con sus vidas (Mateo 28:19-20). Que la gracia de Dios siga permitiendo que Cristo sea en nosotros la esperanza de gloria y nuestra victoria para cambiar el mundo (Colosenses 1:26-27, 1 Corintios 15:10, 57). Aleluya.
Correct the wise and he will love you
Whoever corrects a mocker invites insults; whoever rebukes the wicked incurs abuse. Do not rebuke mockers or they will hate you; rebuke the wise and they will love you. Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still; teach the righteous and they will add to their learning. Proverbs 9:7-9 (NKJV)
World Changer: How hard is to understand these three verses because we read that whoever corrects a scoffer (mocker) draws dishonor on him and whoever rebukes the wicked receives insults. Aren’t these two types of people supposed to need God’s instruction to change?
Why then do they not only reject God’s instruction that would help them, but also become aggressive towards whoever wants to help them?
But if one rebukes the wise man, he will love you, the same if someone instructs him, he will give thanks to his instructor, because he who teaches the righteous will help him increase his knowledge.
In the natural, a person will hardly have a revelation of what it is to walk in the blessing of a Christian, because we remember that a child of God and a disciple of Christ, has as a priority to feed daily on the Word of Life that is only found in the Bible, and that begins to make a difference from being a downcast and aimless person, to beginning to be a person with hope, vision, humility, love, joy, faith and peace.
It is necessary that even us born again Christians may stop for a moment and evaluate our relationship with God and the time we dedicate to look for Him, love Him and serve Him, not only with words but also with our testimony. Because for that we were called, to bring the Good News of the Gospel to the last corner of the earth and win many disciples so that they also serve Christ and bear witness with their lives (Matthew 28: 19-20).
May the grace of God continue to allow Christ to be in us the hope of glory and our victory to change the world (Colossians 1: 26-27, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 57). Hallelujah.
