A ti levanto mis ojos, ¡oh tú que reinas en los cielos! He aquí, como los ojos de los siervos miran a la mano de su señor, como los ojos de la sierva a la mano de su señora, así nuestros ojos miran al Señor nuestro Dios hasta que se apiade de nosotros.
Salmos 123:1-2 (LBLA)
Cambiador del Mundo: Tenemos que estar convencidos todos los cristianos nacidos de nuevo, que nuestra única esperanza es levantar nuestra mirada a los cielos. Como dice este Salmo: el Señor habita en los cielos. Antes de conocer a Cristo y de entregarnos a Él, todos nosotros buscábamos la solución a nuestros conflictos y necesidades en el mundo, porque no conocíamos la Palabra de Dios y mucho menos que ella aplicaba para resolver situaciones en nuestra vida. Y peor estábamos todos aquellos que participábamos en dogmas y tradiciones religiosas, porque para nosotros la Biblia solo era un libro que podían leer los religiosos de cierto rango y nos sucedía igual que en los tiempos de Cristo con los fariseos, que pensaban que solo a ellos les hablaba Dios. Si leemos lo que Jesús habló en el Evangelio de Mateo, entonces entenderemos que la Palabra es para todos. Jesús dijo: te alabo Padre, Señor del cielo y de la tierra, porque escondiste estas palabras de los sabios y de los entendidos, y las revelaste a los niños. Si Padre, porque así te agradó. Todas las cosas me fueron entregadas por mi Padre; y nadie conoce al Hijo sino el Padre, ni al Padre conoce alguno, sino el Hijo, y aquel a quien el Hijo, la quiera revelar. Vengan a mi todos los que están trabajados y cargados porque yo os haré descansar (Mateo 11:25-30). Por lo tanto ahora podemos entender que los religiosos le han escondido la verdad a muchas generaciones y por lo tanto muchas de estas personas partieron de esta vida sin nunca haberse entregado a Jesús, ni mucho menos haber leído una Biblia. A nosotros nos dio Dios la oportunidad de tener una Biblia en la mano, no dejemos de poner a Cristo en el primer lugar y de deleitarnos en las Escrituras de día y de noche, porque de ahí disfrutaremos la excelencia de Dios y recibiremos Su gracia y la verdad que es Su Palabra que puedan cambiar el mundo (Colosenses 1:27). Aleluya.
A Song of Ascents. Unto You, I lift up my eyes, O You who dwell in the heavens. Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, So our eyes look to the Lord our God, Until He has mercy on us.

World Changer: We have to be convinced all born again Christians that our only hope is to lift up our eyes to heaven. Just as this Psalm says: the Lord dwells in the heavens. Before knowing Christ and delivering ourselves to Him, we all were looking for the solution to our problems and needs in the world because we didn’t know the Word of God and much less that it applied to solve situations in our life. And worse were all of us who participated in religious dogmas and traditions because for us the Bible was only a book that religious of a certain rank could read and it happened to us just as in the times of Christ with the Pharisees, who thought that only God was speaking to them. If we read what Jesus spoke in the Gospel of Mathew, then we will understand that the Word is for everybody. Jesus said: I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth because you hid these words from the wise and revealed them to the children. Yes Father, because that pleased you. All things were delivered to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, nor the Father knows any, except the Son, and the one whom the Son wants to reveal. Come to me all those who are worked and loaded because I will give you rest (Matthew 11: 25-30). Therefore, now we can understand that the religious people have hidden the truth to many generations and therefore many of these people left this life without ever having given themselves to Jesus, much less having read a Bible. God gave us the opportunity to have a Bible in hand, let’s not stop putting Christ in first place and to delight ourselves in the Scriptures day and night, because from there we will enjoy God’s excellence and receive His grace and the truth that is His Word that can change the world (Colossians 1:27).
