Salmos 122:1-2 (LBLA)

Cambiador del Mundo: Ir a la casa del Señor es motivo de gozo en el corazón de un verdadero siervo de Dios que ha decidido consagrar su vida a su Creador. Antes de Cristo, los que teníamos religión, asistíamos un rato los fines de semana o si acaso cuando teníamos un evento familiar o de amistades, pero no entendíamos la importancia de conocer a Dios íntimamente ni tampoco teníamos Su Palabra como nuestra instrucción para vivir en paz y en bendición. En Cristo Jesús, los cristianos nacidos de nuevo, tienen a su Salvador y a quien los ha librado del pecado y de la muerte y les ha provisto Su amor y gracia para caminar seguros en medio de la inestabilidad de este mundo. Un joven llamado Marcos escribió el Evangelio con su nombre y relató la vida de Jesús y Sus milagros. En uno de sus relatos nos muestra como Jesús llamó hipócritas a muchos de los fariseos y a algunos de los escribas que habían venido a Jerusalén, ya que solamente buscaban pretextos y argumentos religiosos para atacar y criticar a los discípulos de Jesús, y el Señor les reprendió duramente y les señaló lo que habló el Profeta Isaías, el cual dijo: este pueblo de labios me honra, mas su corazón está lejos de mí, pues en vano me honran enseñando como doctrina mandamientos de hombres. Jesús también les señaló que estos religiosos estaban haciendo a un lado el mandamiento de Dios, para aferrarse a las tradiciones de los hombres, e invalidaban dicho mandamiento para guardar su tradición. Nosotros también debemos de cuidarnos de no ser religiosos y en lugar de esa actitud, fomentar una relación mucho más íntima y cercana a nuestro Señor Jesucristo, tomando nuestra cruz cada día siguiéndolo y negándonos a nosotros mismos (Marcos 8:34-38, Marcos 7:1-13), con Jesús vamos a cambiar el mundo. World Changer: To go to the Lord’s home it is a motive of joy in the heart of a true servant of God that has decided to consecrate his or her life to his or her Creator. Before Christ, the ones that we had religion, we went for a while on weekends or when we had a family event o friendship but we didn’t understand the importance to know God intimately nor had His Word as our instruction to live in peace and in blessing. In Christ Jesus, the born again Christians have their Saviour and to those who have freed them from sin and death and provided their love and grace to walk safely in the midst of the instability of this world. A young man named Mark wrote the Gospel with his name and he told about Jesus’s life and His miracles. In one of his stories, he shows us how Jesus called many of the Pharisees and some of the scribes who had come to Jerusalem hypocrites since they were only looking for religious excuses and arguments to attack and criticize the disciples of Jesus, and the Lord rebuked them harshly and pointed out to them what the Prophet Isaiah spoke, which said: these people with lips honor me, but their heart is far from me because in vain they honor me teaching as doctrine commandments of men. Jesus also pointed out that these religious were putting aside God’s commandment, to cling to the traditions of men, and invalidate that commandment to keep their tradition. We must also take care not to be religious and instead of that attitude, foster a much more intimate and close relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ, taking our cross each day following and denying ourselves (Mark 8: 34-38, Mark 7: 1-13), with Jesus we will change the world.
